We purchased a VW Jetta for our daughter and this was our second VW purchase from Stone Mountain VW. All I can say is their customer service is SUPERB! Our sales person, Joshua Williams was patient, understanding and appreciative of our time. He got us through the process smoothly and we chose a great car for our daughter which she was very pleased with. He was actually new to the VW family but this was not noticeable at all. He was professional, knowledgeable of his vehicles and took care of us well. We now have to VW in the family and Stone Mountain VW and Joshua is who we will deal with from this point forward as it pertains to our cars.

Our salesman was Jerry McCoy and would definitely recommend working with him. Jerry made the process of buying a car less grueling by being very personable and friendly while always remaining professional.
The dealership is clean and organized; they have a play area for smaller kids, a waiting area, kitchen with refreshments etc.
The finance person was also very professional and helpful, patiently answering all questions regarding paperwork, warranty options etc.

Everyone at Savannah Volkswagon could not have been nicer to my husband and I. Especially Don Lovett from inventory who found our car within just a few short weeks of our telling him what we were looking for. Frank called us and worked hard to get us financed at a reasonable rate considering our low credit scores. Then Frank introduced us to Ray who was one of the greatest salesman we've met in our 35 years of marriage and purchasing automobiles. He treated us with respect and like we were special. He explained everything that was taking place and made our wait enjoyable.
We were very impressed with the professionalism that Savannah VW exhibits. There was no yelling from the manager's office when a customer's deal was ready. When the salespeople spoke with each other or the customers it was done in low voices or by calling the salesperson away from the customer. Certainly not what we've experienced in other dealerships. Marc made the financial end of our purchase fast and with no stress.
The 2014 Mazda 3 was exactly what we had imagined for the last 3 years that we would own. This is the greatest car. It was in excellent condition and still smelled new inside. We love all the features and the comfortable ride, not to mention the great gas mileage we are getting! Thank you for such a great experience in purchasing a used vehicle that will be in our family for years to come.

Today, 16 March 2016, I sent an on-line inquiry to this dealership regarding the purchase of parts and using the Volkswagen Goodwill credit card that is sent to owners of the TDI vehicles. I sat down and typed out a two paragraph message using Kuhn's own web page asking if I could use the credit card at their parts department.
Later in the morning I receive a telephone call from a salesman at this dealership trying to sell me a car. I never once showed any interest in purchasing a vehicle and I sent the message to the dealership in order to make arrangements to purchase parts. I was told that none of the message was even received at the dealership and that all they receive is my name, phone number, and e-mail.
For future reference, note that this place is not interested in servicing the vehicles that they sell. I won't waste my trip up to Cobb Parkway for the purpose of buying a VW or getting parts ever again. Kuhn is rather obtuse to the needs and desires of the buying public.

I don't often post online reviews, however, given the horrid experience I've had with this dealership I felt obligated to share so hopefully I can save others from going through this as well. This was my first car buying experience and I was thrilled to be able to purchase a car on my own without the help of my parents. Let me tell you, I was literally ALONE. My car salesperson left me alone for several hours in her office while she disappeared. I tried to page her but to no avail. After I had been there for four hours (mind you I already came in knowing exactly which car I wanted) I was finally brought back to the financing department and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. That light burned out quickly though, because our finance rep had no idea what they were doing. This was 100% forgiveable at the time, considering they had only been there for two weeks but she was very "thorough" to ensure there were no mistakes. Several hours later I excitedly drove off the lot in my new car thinking the transaction from xxxx was over. WRONG. Several days after I left I received a phone call about paperwork that they had left out and needed me to sign. This wouldn't have been a big deal except that it happened twice. Once I returned the docs I thought it was over, wrong again. They called me and needed me to resign my contract. I was obviously very upset about this so I took my newly signed contract to the dealership and spoke to the manager who assured me no further documentation was necessary. However, I received a FOURTH call stating they need me to resign the contract that I had just resigned for them two weeks prior due to another clerical error. The worst part, is that while I was on the phone with the finance person he minimized the situation acting like it wasn't a big deal and stated I wasn't the only person this was happening to... Are you kidding me? Did I mention they can't pay off the car I traded in until my "paperwork is complete" - pretty insane considering I purchased this car OVER A MONTH AGO. This has been the most nightmarish purchasing experience in my entire life. Save yourself, go somewhere else.

Viewed dealer site, no prices; called dealer to ask price, was given run around, wanted to know when I was coming to dealership, nagged me for my telephone number - all I wanted was the price. Drove to lot on a Sunday, saw the same car the Macon dealer showed price for online, but Jeff Smith had an added $895 for "appearance package," but it was obvious by looking at and ultimately buying the car from another dealer that the two cars were identical. My advice, if the dealer won't put the price on the internet, won't tell you over the phone, and uses add on stickers with unverifiable options, buy the car somewhere else.
Poor service, poor location, no pride... - John Galt
Bought a car here at a better price than dealer in Warner Robins, but have repeatedly gotten poor service. Took car in for 30-day check, employees standing around smoking or on computer playing, only one service writer, work got done, but detailer did poor job; in fact top of car and hood had circular scratches like the rag had been dropped on the ground. On another occasion had work done on car, but found it was not done when I got home as I had marked consumable parts that should have been replaced. Recently my salesman called me, said he'd quit and was working somewhere else, so I rode past VW dealership - like a graveyard. I realize brand is having some problems (diesel), but there were hardly any cars, only one salesman, employees standing around smoking - just no pride. Sorry to say a reputable dealer like Jackson bought his brand at a bad time and has been stuck with a poor staff culture. I think it would be best it dealer merged over on Subaru or Mercedes lot and that facility and staff were utilized to sell VWs and fire everyone over at Eisenhower location.
