We ended up buying 2 cars on Saturday - pmckay
The staff at Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw was fantastic. We intended to purchase a car for our college son and left with 2 vehicles. We were so impressed with the staff, dealership and VW quality, that we decided to leave our BMW behind for a 2nd purchase. The entire process was very efficient and without stress. Special thanks to Kevin Prevost, Oleg Robu and Todd Brafford.
I have dealt with dozens of dealerships over my lifetime and can honestly say that I have never been so pleased with our overall experience.
I would highly recommend this dealership and these individuals to everyone. Thanks guys!!!
Brian Bolton was very dedicated - 08 ford f250
I recently purchased a pre owned truck from J Ellis VW Atlanta. It was about a hour and half drive so I asked the salesman, via text message, to save me a trip by just telling me everything that was wrong with the truck. He was very forthcoming and even took additional pictures of the few dings and dents in the truck. He stated late after a lengthy negotiation to finish the deal. He delivered this level of dedication while dealing with a family tragedy. He followed up after the sale and remained helpful when we forgot to get our garage door opener out of the vehicle we traded. I would recommend Brian Bolton to anyone purchasing a vehicle.
Excellent customer and delightful car buying experience! - Fun4me
I was greeted by Keith Matthews. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient and gave me many options to consider for my Golf. We even drive 3 different types.
My best experience ever - Arriazaatlas
I have purchased two cars at this dealership. The reason I bought the second one at this place is because of Silvia Egan. She is very knowledgable and treat me like a friend. Every time I take my car for service I always stop by her office to say hi.

Consuella Greene made me feel at ease, answered all questions and catered to my need and specifics as well as she could. Mrs. Greene and the Gerald Jones family were inviting, warm and caring, they made me feel like I was at a family reunion.

I drove 160 miles round trip to check out a used vehicle at Jeff Smith VW. After an extensive test drive, I mentioned a couple of concerns that I had about the car. They more than addressed the concerns and offered service above and beyond what I expected, including a 5 year, 100K mile warranty effective from the date of purchase on a USED CAR. This warranty was INCLUDED in the sale price -- not an expense in addition to the sale price. Because I live some distance from the dealership, they even offered to send a driver to drop off a free loaner vehicle and pick up my vehicle to bring it back to Jeff Smith for service -- for no additional cost. I interacted with about five different people while I was there and each one of them was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. My only less-than-ideal comment about my experience there is that they can be perhaps a little too "persistent" in trying to close the deal, but the many positives they offer far outweighed that annoyance. Kudos to Rick Hall, Ferlando Williams and Anida Blanton, all of whom were particularly helpful.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - DO NOT GO HERE!! - Guy30080
Brought my 2014 Passat in for a new key fob. Kuhn presented me a bill, after 32 days in the Service Department, for $4,000!! TRULY AN OUTRAGE !
After refusing to pay, Kuhn allowed that they had taken the liberty to install all new software for my "keyless entry" car, for $6,000, and tried to pass the cost on to me - for a freaking KEY FOB!!
The invoice was laughable: "LABOR" was like $4,000 and "KEY, PARTS, SHOP" was $2,000. What, am I paying for this entire dealership's overhead??
After horrible negotiations the bill was reduced to $850, which I paid, ONLY because they held my car hostage !!
I WILL NEVER NEVER AGAIN DARKEN THE DOORS OF THIS DEALERSHIP and urge others not to as well.
They are only interested in $$$ being sucked out of you. A truly HORRIBLE experience.
The Absolute Worst - Carguy124
I don't often post online reviews, however, given the horrid experience I've had with this dealership I felt obligated to share so hopefully I can save others from going through this as well. This was my first car buying experience and I was thrilled to be able to purchase a car on my own without the help of my parents. Let me tell you, I was literally ALONE. My car salesperson left me alone for several hours in her office while she disappeared. I tried to page her but to no avail. After I had been there for four hours (mind you I already came in knowing exactly which car I wanted) I was finally brought back to the financing department and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. That light burned out quickly though, because our finance rep had no idea what they were doing. This was 100% forgiveable at the time, considering they had only been there for two weeks but she was very "thorough" to ensure there were no mistakes. Several hours later I excitedly drove off the lot in my new car thinking the transaction from xxxx was over. WRONG. Several days after I left I received a phone call about paperwork that they had left out and needed me to sign. This wouldn't have been a big deal except that it happened twice. Once I returned the docs I thought it was over, wrong again. They called me and needed me to resign my contract. I was obviously very upset about this so I took my newly signed contract to the dealership and spoke to the manager who assured me no further documentation was necessary. However, I received a FOURTH call stating they need me to resign the contract that I had just resigned for them two weeks prior due to another clerical error. The worst part, is that while I was on the phone with the finance person he minimized the situation acting like it wasn't a big deal and stated I wasn't the only person this was happening to... Are you kidding me? Did I mention they can't pay off the car I traded in until my "paperwork is complete" - pretty insane considering I purchased this car OVER A MONTH AGO. This has been the most nightmarish purchasing experience in my entire life. Save yourself, go somewhere else.
Poor service, poor location, no pride... - John Galt
Bought a car here at a better price than dealer in Warner Robins, but have repeatedly gotten poor service. Took car in for 30-day check, employees standing around smoking or on computer playing, only one service writer, work got done, but detailer did poor job; in fact top of car and hood had circular scratches like the rag had been dropped on the ground. On another occasion had work done on car, but found it was not done when I got home as I had marked consumable parts that should have been replaced. Recently my salesman called me, said he'd quit and was working somewhere else, so I rode past VW dealership - like a graveyard. I realize brand is having some problems (diesel), but there were hardly any cars, only one salesman, employees standing around smoking - just no pride. Sorry to say a reputable dealer like Jackson bought his brand at a bad time and has been stuck with a poor staff culture. I think it would be best it dealer merged over on Subaru or Mercedes lot and that facility and staff were utilized to sell VWs and fire everyone over at Eisenhower location.
