Went to the Subaru for a Forester only looking the first day. Our sales person Sarah Patrick spoke to us took time to show us a few Subaru's. After a few views we got some info and left . Contacted Sarah and said we're interested in the Forester and wanted to come in Wednesday she was off and offered a different salesman and we declined and made it Monday night surprise stop. During the sale we were never pushed or offered a different vehicle or stuff we didn't want Sarah did a remarkable job and we ended up with the vehicle we wanted and color . All in all I have never been to a dealership and left satisfied and worried I did the right thing this time there was no hard feelings or worries and would like to say thank you Sarah your the best and we will definitely look for you if we come back. First, our salesman, Eric Zetterlof, was extremely friendly and honest but also very professional. My wife and I felt completely at peace with our transaction. Second, the Business Manager, Darell Cintron, wrapped up the paperwork and made that experience a "non-event", even though it seemed like the amount of paperwork equaled that of buying a house. Darell explained everything as we went and disclosed all the terms to our satisfaction. This is the second new car we have purchased at Gerald Subaru in North Aurora, and we have always done our service there as well. We will of course bring this new car there too. We have always recommended Gerald to other people. Eric will be recommended as a trusted source to other people now too. One of our daughters owns a Forester (she brings it to Gerald for service), and when she is in the market for a trade-in, she will be given Eric's name for sure! All-in-all, we never felt any pressure during the process, and everyone we saw, or had any interaction with, was friendly and welcoming. Great job!!

Great people to work with including the Sales person (John), service manager (Jonathan) and finance manager (Nick). Thought I wanted a used car, but the new one was just a little more.

I purchased a 2024 Forester today from the new sales manager Wilson and Rick his sales rep. I can say, without hesitation, that Wilson the sales manager of 2 months, Rick, Juan and Kelly made the transaction an unbelievable new car purchase. I am 80 years old and have purchased only one other NEW car from a dealer. The last new car I purchased was a Subaru from another dealer. The experience was a pleasant one. But it did not compare to the experience satisfaction, price or value of today's purchase. I live 140 miles away. I stopped into the dealership to purchase a gallon of coolant for my wife's 2022 Forester. I mentioned to Wilson that I would have a 2024 Forester, but the dealer in my town offered me a ridiculously low trade-in on a new one. Wilson asked what I wanted for a trade-in value. He had a potential buyer from 140 miles away and did his best to make sure I bought a car. I walked in for a $32 gallon of coolant and walked out with a $40,000 new car. I'm not sure where the dealership found the new sales manager.....but they better hang on to him.

If possible I would give -5 stars 1 star is far too many. Don't bother unless you want to spend a lot of time in their lounge. 1 replacement Key cutting/programming 5 hrs 3 hours sitting in their lobby only to be told with a smile and a laugh that their $20,000.00 key cutter was unable to cut the key, even though they verified that it was a Genuine Subaru key while checking me in, no apologizies just some "if it weren't for bad luck,, joking attitude," I was then sent to a local locksmith who cut the key in less than 5 minutes. After getting back to the dealership and waiting in line to get my car checked with no recognition of the 3+ hours i had already been their, finally the Mr. "if it weren't for bad luck"... sees me and says we'll get right on it. 1.5 hours later i am finally brought to be checked out. I am then told by the service person who has been mishandling me all morning says "if you had ordered the key from us you wouldn't have had this issue..." That's when I realize this dealer was punishing me for not buying the key from them!!

Found a used Kia online and went to this dealership to check it out. Was greeted by Devin. He located the vehicle I was interested in, and we went on a test drive. He let me check the vehicle out good after the drive, and he even helped point out things the dealership had done to improve the vehicle. Devin answered all my questions, was honest and helpful. I'm still in the market, may need a little time to buy, but I will certainly be back here and hope I can buy a car from Devin. I would highly recommend him.

My wife and I highly recommend buying a Subaru from Castle McHenry. One of their employees Joe Garity recommended it to me, and I'm glad I listened to him. I specifically worked with Subaru Specialist Ed Chambers and had a great experience. He negotiated a fair amount for my 2021 Ram 1500 trade in. He was also helpful throughout the whole process of my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek purchase. I wanted a quality vehicle that was safe for my family and one that had great gas mileage for my work commute. Ed Chambers took the time to explain everything, to answer questions, and to make sure my family was taken care of. Ed is a legit, quality guy. I also appreciated working with Noah Cherry, who handled all the financing. I knew I would get a great rate with my credit score, but he got it down even lower than I expected. And although I'm not big on extended warranties, I purchased the Subaru extended warranty from Noah and Ed for peace of mind, especially with all the electrical components and chips these days. Lastly, I also appreciated the follow up after the purchase. Ed gave me a detailed tour of the vehicle and answered any questions. He also followed up with a couple personal phone calls in the following days and weeks asking how everything was going. Buying a car is a huge purchase, so I appreciated his follow up. We definitely love Subaru. We bought my wife a Forester there a few years ago. I loved it so much that I wanted a Subaru as well. We definitely recommend both the Subaru brand and buying from this specific dealership. Highly recommend!
