Doug Gaddy - sportkia6
I appreciated Mr. Gaddy's professionalism. First impression means a lot. He dressed the part, looked the part and was knowledgeable. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable with making our decision to purchase a vehicle. There was no fast talking or fancy showmanship. A few days after I purchased my car, Mr. Gaddy continued to make himself available to address any questions I had. Younger sales people can learn a lot from his example and experience. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer.

My wife and I have purchased 2 vehicles so far from Abeloff Kia and both times they were honest and upfront with the process from beginning to end with no strong arm sales tactics. Shout out to Antoine and Rob!
We have used their service center as well several times and the work was done right the first time without overselling us on unnecessary services and just what we needed.
Thank you Abeloff Kia for your honesty and integrity.

LOVE My New-To-Me RDX - N. Idaho RDX
Damian Marchitello at Smail helped us complete our internet purchase with patience and good humor! We love our RDX and it is exactly what he described. Being that we live in North Idaho and the car was in Pennsylvania, we had to rely on Damian's honesty and integrity as we made our purchase. Damian even sent us a picture of the RDX being loaded on the truck to make it's long trip across the country! We appreciate Damian's help and would recommend him to anyone!
Honest pricing that beat the high volume dealership - hotrod129
I went to dc and Baltimore area dealerships with the hope and expectation that the higher volume dealers would have better pricing. But got over inflated quotes and manipulated prices that were higher than at york Kia. Sad. These guys were obviously a family business and I was treated honestly and fairly from the very beginnng. No hassle and the whole transaction was as quick as I have ever experienced. Would definitely do business there again.
Pleasant experience - ckraucun
Compared to other dealers, I had a very pleasant experience calling ahead, test driving the car with Kofi, and preliminary price negotiations. I ended up choosing another car, but would recommend people to see Kofi if interested in a Kia.

The best thing about Service Dept is our servicevRep Shawn. She anticipated our needs. Knew we didnt need the costly admissions test for state inspection. Applied a coupon we didnt know existed. Kept our appointment on time. We have confidence in Smail because of her. Add quality workmanship in the shop and you get customers that are satisfied. Thats the McGregors.

Do Not Buy from KIA of Coatesville - Steve O
I like my KIA Sportage, but this dealership is not trustworthy. Bought the car expecting a BSP (Blind Spot Protection System) I was shown by the Sales Manager Mike Reitano himself only to drop it off and they installed an aftermarket system. They lied about the whole transaction to Kia Corporate. I understand that my sales person no longer works there appeasing KIA I assume to protect the Sales Manager who is not truthful. The car was delivered without the full detail required and paid for and not clean. So much for dealer prep! Once you agree to buy the car all the nice comments, conversations are gone, they got you! Wait too long to complete the deal, well over an hour and a half. They did not care, they had my trade in, my keys, we me having to wait and wait. The comment from Mike the sales manager Mike Reitano when I complained about the BSP system not being what he and the sale person showed me and sold me was actually an aftermarket system that KIA Motors does not approve of or condone, was "it is what it is". I can only imagine what the service department would be like with a culture like that. Don't buy here, not trustworthy, the typical Pressure from a dealer that wants to get you on the hook and could care less about being fair to the customer. False advertisements are there specialty too, get a TV or get a grill, things if that nature. Don't fall for it. When I complained to KIA, they advised me that the dealership should not have done that but they are privately owned and they can't control how they act towards customers but appreciated the concern and noted another complaint angsint KIA of Coatesville. Avoid the lies, the bait and switch and go to a reputable dealer. KIA does have a nice product.
6th Car from Roger @ Murray - ChrisInLansdale
Went in this last weekend and made it a family affair. First I traded my Sportage I bought from Roger for a 17 Optima SX Turbo, then my son came in and traded his Sportage for a 17 Forte, lastly I went back the next day with my wives Sorento and bought a new 17 Sorento. I have to say Roger made these all the easiest transactions you could do. It was all no bull and I didn't have to spend 3 hours going back and forth like I have at several other dealers. So all in all this is 6 we bought from Murray.
I would highly recommend them. They don't play the BS games of guaranteed $5000 trade in and mark their prices up like other Kia dealers. It is straight numbers and it is business the way it should be.
Dismissive, slow, and disorganized - sweetheart23
Last week I contacted Monroeville Kia about a blue Niro they had in stock. A woman called me within 15 minutes and asked if I'd like to make an appointment to do a test drive. We scheduled for Saturday, which was yesterday. My husband and I went to the Monroeville Kia dealership yesterday for our scheduled appointment. When we walked in there were two or three tables with people seated and working out deals. When we informed the girl at the front desk that we were there for our test drive appointment, she had absolutely no idea what we were talking about. She said, "Everyone is busy right now, but you can sit in the waiting area for the next available salesperson to get to you. It shouldn't take long and there's a TV." We were surprised, but just then a sales guy walked by and said he would help us in a few minutes if we'd be willing to wait. He suggested in the meantime that we could look at the Niro model in the showroom, we could get in and see the interior while we waited. We did so and another sales guy with slicked-back hair and lots of jewelry approached us and we deferred his help politely. The original guy was back in a few minutes. Other than the appointment issue, so far so good, right?
When he got back, he said disgusted, "Sorry for the wait. We had a bunch of call-offs today. What were you looking for today?" We told him the EX or LX model Niro. He told us that the blue Niro outside was an EX with fewer options, and then asked if we wanted to see it. We told him yes. As we looked the vehicle over, he mentioned that the price was $26k. I mentioned that the website had several monthly deals advertised that we should be eligible for receiving (I read them carefully online - how accurate they were, who knows). He said, "I've been on vacation for a week. I don't know what the specials are for now. Let me check, but I think what you're talking about is some discount program with Uber. I don't think that's for you." NUMBER 1: When you (sales guy) hit the floor, you should know the xxxx sales every day. NUMBER 2: He never asked me about my relation to Uber. He just assumed it wasn't for me.
He went back inside and came out saying, "Tthe price is $26k and that's all I can do for you." NUMBER 3: BS!!!!!
Now for the prelude to the test drive. He asks if we really want to do a test drive. My husband respectfully replied, "We'd like to if you have the time." Sales guy's response? "Well, I don't, but if you make it worth my while and buy it, then I will." No smile or joking, just that same trodden down frown and overarching frustration. My husband replied, "Well, that depends on how much you are willing to work with us." Sales guy said "Okay," and went back inside again with license, etc to prep for the test drive. We started the drive and there was no additional information about the vehicle volunteered by Sales guy. He sat there silently unless I prompted him to talk about the vehicle. Instead he talked about his 7 kids. NUMBER 4: I don't respond well to the idea that I am somehow responsible for his kids through purchasing a car. Way to manipulate, buddy.
We finished the drive and Sales guy said, "Ok, well, my people from this morning are back. I have to talk with them and rip someone a new a**hole. I'll get back to you in a few minutes." We waited... again. After 10 minutes, he got back to us and my husband asked for numbers for purchase/ lease, 60 month and 72 month terms, and the monthly payments for these options so we could decide if this would work with our budget. Sales guy left to "run the numbers" and went into an all glass room with a bunch of guys who were talking. No calculating could be seen. On his desk was one picture of one girl - I'm guessing his daughter - must be the favored from among the 7 kids. There were no computers at the sales desks, not even a calculator, and no clocks on the walls and as we waited, and waited, AND waited. We realized that this guy did not want to work for our sale. He did not want to help us, work with us, or deal with us in any way. Why did I conclude this? Apart from the obvious lack of informing us about this expensive product we were clearly interested in learning about, on the test drive he talked about himself, his past work experience, and the other "xxxx on wheels" hybrids out there. NUMBER 5: No cussing during the sales pitch. Do not discuss yourself. Teach about the product and focus on the non-verbal cues from your customers.
Lastly, and my particular last straw. The sales guy with slicked back hair and jewelry was helping an older woman while we were waiting for our Sales guy to return. After a few minutes he said loud enough to hear, "Well, we can't do that. Sorry we can't help you." She got up to leave and made some comment we couldn't hear. He replied to her, "I know. That's okay, sweetheart." NUMBER 6: GAG!!!!!! Women have names, too. I'd bet about $26k that none of them are named sweetheart. He knew her name, too. It was disgraceful, dismissive, and nauseating.
I will never, ever go back there. It was everything, and I mean EVERYTHING horrible about buying a car. This was not even the worst trip to a car dealership I've had, but this was a SURE THING for them when we arrived there and they still managed to mess it up. Negative five stars for this horrible place. BTW, I am not mentioning our sales guy's name because the entire workplace had such low morale, I actually pitied him. I wish him luck in finding a better job, b/c it's clear to me that there HAS TO be a better job than that.
