After reviewing a well constructed web-page, I called Gilland Ford and spoke with John Sanders about a new 2024 Tremor. In a few short minutes, we established an excellent rapport (Both Veterans) and quickly crunched some good numbers on both the new Tremor and the 2023 trade-in Tremor. I pride myself on being a good judge of character, and John came across as an honest man with integrity above all else! I made the 3.5 hour drive from Atlanta after he repeatedly assured me that everything would be exactly as presented over the phone. As he promised.... the whole transaction (including very painless paperwork with Elijah Shelley!) was smooth, relaxed and expeditious. The best part was John staying over an hour past closing time to help me switch over the expensive bed cover I had just purchased and several other items that were not included with the generous trade-in deal. He also spent a considerable amount of time after hours programming all the FordPass features so I could enjoy BlueCruise and all the other tech features that he knew played a big part in my decision to upgrade from a 2023 Tremor truck that I absolutely loved to a 2024 model. His product knowledge was outstanding. He quickly answered all my tech questions and made it very clear that I was to call him anytime down the road if I had any concerns. As a retired Delta Air Lines pilot, I recognize and appreciate good customer service when I see it, and I definitely saw it from John! Gilland Ford and Ford Motor Company as a whole should hold John Sanders up as the role model to compare all other salespeople with. I suggest a significant raise immediately!! The service department did a magnificent job of working with my warranty company, keeping me informed, and providing professional and expeditious work. If I could give negative stars I would. This is the worst dealership. The service department is completely non responsive. I dropped my car off Wednesday 7/16/25 for check engine light and oil change. I was told nothing can be done without a second key and they would call me back. They never called back so I tried calling them with no response. They called me back and said you need a second key. So I had to order that for $785 and was told it would take a couple of days. On Friday 7/18/25, I was told by my service contact Sam that the key had not come in yet and I would get a call early next week. No call Monday and I tried calling Tuesday but could not get in contact with Sam. I had to go to the dealership to get in contact with somebody. So Tuesday 7/22/25 they tell me the key is on back order. Nobody would call and tell me that. I had to physically go to the dealership. I got contact information for the service manager and he told me to contact him to check on the key. So 7/23/25 I asked about status and he said we don't when we will get this key. You can drive your car if you like, the only thing that might happen is your car won't start because it loses connection with the key. It is a special order item so we can only get it from this one vendor and not find it anywhere else. So I opted to sell the vehicle to Ford. So I would never have to deal with them again. I go to clean everything out of my car and they lost the one key for the vehicle. But they just leave the cars unlocked so thankfully i was able to get my stuff out of the vehicle. I signed over my vehicle to be purchased on 7/23/25. The pay off amount was valid through 8/2/25. Well Ford did not proceed with pay off until 8/2/25. CarMax did not receive the pay off until 8/4/25. Ford would not issue a check without title in hand. So I am still waiting for the money they owe me to be paid. The sales people will not respond to you unless you are interested in purchasing a vehicle from them. I had to reach out to CarMax to confirm a pay off had been made. I had to reach out to confirm title had been transferred. Ford would not respond after telling me things would only take a couple of days and you will be able to pick up the check. I found out they had the title by searching the VIN number and seeing it for sale on their website. If your sales person takes time off nothing will get done. They will pass you around and never respond to you. They will tell you things will get taken care of but then never confirm that things were actually taken care of. This dealership only cares about money and not service. The customer does not matter. There are not enough words to describe the pain of the experience with Long-Lewis Ford. I will never buy another Ford ever again.

I recently negotiated an out the door price for the purchase of a 2023 Ford F150 with this dealership. However, once driving to make the purchase, I was told that the deal was for a Sierra 1500. The salesman Thomas said he made a mistake during negotiations and then got loud and argumentative with me when I asked to speak with a manager. After being forced to call back myself, I was finally able to get the owner to hear me out who protected Thomas and said he just made a mistake, but he would talk with him about his attitude. He never offered to honor the negotiated price of the F150 and showed no remorse that I was lied to by one of his salesmen for over a week of negotiations. This was a true bait and switch tactic by this dealership and I hope a lawyer reads this review so maybe this dealership can be forced to stop these practices. Bottom Line - The Salesman Thomas Lied to me and then berated me. - The Owner defended him and showed this dealership has no honor in what they say. Very Untrustworthy Dealership!

(salesman) saw us looking at the different size SUVs and ask if he could help. He let me drive the Ford Bronco Sport and compare the difference between the 2024 and 2025. Both were very nice, it took awhile to make a decision. Doug was very patient and treated me with respect. If I ever need another vehicle, I would gladly return because of Doug and the selection.
