I recently had an incident when I was driving to work. There was a 55 gallon trash barrel in the middle of the road. I was in the passing lane with a car less than 3 car lengths behind me. I could not stop or swerve or there would have been a serious accident. So I held on to the steering wheel, prayed, and hit the trash barrel head on. When it hit the car the trash can split in half and went under the car. The car was drivable, so I continued on my way to work. It was dark and I had a meeting at 7:30 AM so I went right into work without being to assess any damage. When I got out of work it was dark and I couldn't really see any damage. I noticed on the way home, the check engine light came on. My husband went out and checked the car and said the bumper was cracked and the spoiler was damaged. I had to have my car scheduled for oil change so I thought I would have the body shop look at the damage as well. The insurance company said I had to go to someone they were contracted with. I took it to the body shop and Ralph looked at my car and recommended I ask the insurance company to assign the claim to Bob Fisher. He explained the process to me and I worked with Melissa for interaction with the insurance company. In short, they got it approved and scheduled the work. I had the oil change done on my lunch break and they let me know the one sensor was gone due to the incident. They coordinated the extra work with the body shop and completed the work. I needed to travel for Thanksgiving and was worried about having my Equinox back before the trip. Melissa said she would let me know by Tuesday when I could expect my car back. Monday night I got a call from the body shop (and I apologize I don't recall the employee's name). My car was done and I could pick it up that night. I had plans so I arranged to pick it in the morning. I picked my car up at 8 in the morning the next day. I was so excited to get my car but I was more impressed by the how great my car looked. They even detailed the car for me. I am so glad I met Ralph and Melissa. They provided the utmost in professional, excellent customer service. I am so glad I bought my car at Bob Fisher and I trusted them for service and body work for my car. The purchase was awesome with Mr. Krause, the service was awesome with the service department and the body shop was extraordinary. My apologies for those I could not recognize by name. Exceptional employees, exceptional service!!"

It is with great pleasure that I post this review of this excellent business in Paradise Pa.  After much searching across several states, I located the exact vehicle I have been interested in. My first contact was with Ty in sales and he graciously accepted my deposit. The following Saturday I travelled almost 4 hours, one way, on my quest for the vehicle. On arrival, I met Anthony in sales who was fantastic. Personable, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time with me, made sure I took advantage of any available discounts, and guided me through the process. Scott was also very helpful, demonstrating some of the advanced features on this brand new Camaro Convertible. Mike in the Finance department was also very kind and patient working out the actual numbers with me. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the overall buying experience at this business. Wantz Taneytown is wonderful. They are excellent at explaining any issues and are very accommodating. Last year I had a dead battery on a Saturday morning. I called them and they drove to my home in Littlestown to pick up my car and drove it back to my home once the work was completed, I never had to leave my house. WOW how bad can you treat a person ASK THE GM TONY!!!!!!!!!!!Buying a $80,000.00 Truck I filled out all the paper work for financing pulled my credit send over all documents ins. cards drivers license everything they asked got verified from there bank. I was under the impression I could sign using e sign but they told me no because of fraud they was happing I said no problem booked a flight ($300) while one the phone with them for the next day sent them my itinerary because they told me they would have someone pick me up at the airport and bring me to the dealership to do paper work and sign and drive truck back home and i was happy to do it . Then they tell me they can't sell me the truck because of my id drives license was not real I told them it is and was issued by the state of new Hampshire and is 100% real and but I will also bring my passport they told me no thats probably not real. LOL ONLY ME my response was I cant fly without a id or passport and you see my fight info with my name and address on it ... IS THIS EVEN REALLY HAPPENING . I asked the GM Tony to talk to his boss and he said that no-one is his boss he is the boss and he told me in a nicer way to F OFF AND POUND IT NO DEAL AND HUNG UP. I called back and talk to the operator and I told her what happen and she put me on the phone with Tonys boss I told him the situation and he said let me look into it and I'll call you back before end of the day never got a call back still and its been 24 hours I own 6 different business if any of my over 120 employees ever handled or acted like that to a Customer they would be let go immediately. i hope the owner of the dealerships reads this review or the last few witch are all 1 star and makes some changes but I know 1 thing they lost my business and every plat form I get I will copy and past this review.. 40 years old and by far the worst experience I ever had.. 80k going to a different dealership not this xxxx hole.. Awesome buying experience!!!! I drove to John Sauder Chevrolet of Ephrata on 10/14/24 to look at 2 trucks. Tim Weaver was my salesperson. He was attentive and while I was out for a test drive they took the time to look at my trade in. By the time I came back they had all the numbers ready to go over on the truck and trade. I received a fair purchase price on the purchase price of the 2022 Trail Boss and the same on my trade in. The credit application and buying process was pretty flawless. No wasting time on either end which I appreciated with my busy schedule. Patrick Byrnes was amazing! He went over all available options and answered all my questions. The process at the end was quick and efficient. Actually one of my better buying experiences from a dealership. No pressure, clean showroom and nice choice of vehicles. The next day after the purchase I realized there were wheel locks on each of the tires but the key wasn't in the glove box. One call back to the dealership and Patrick had me taken care of with an appointment the next day. Their service department was super nice to deal with and accommodating. I also had an opportunity to interact with their parts department on obtaining a bed mat and I encountered the same great service. Today it's hard to find great deals and the best value for your money along with exceptional service. I can tell you with my experience you will find both here. Patrick is a class act and appreciated doing business with your dealership because of him and his team.

My recent vehicle purchase was my first experience with John Sauder Chevrolet. I will admit that I went into the dealership with an attitude, expecting to encounter the stereotype of salesman that had been formed in my mind by previous negative experiences with New Car Dealerships. Kirk Newcomer dispelled those notions as his professionalism and apparent honesty brought me back into a comfort zone which allowed me to make an informed decision about my purchase without pressure and without the feeling that I must be on guard for any deceptive practices. Kirk was very knowledgeable and responsive. He was eager to find answers to any questions I posed, and he was very helpful in finding the exact "up fit" equipment which I desired for my new work van, so that upon delivery I had everything I needed. Communication with Kirk was readily available and he followed up quickly on every detail. Kirk did his best to provide a buying opportunity which gave me options in finding a solution to my needs that were in my best interest. Bottom line: Buying a new vehicle from Kirk Newcomer and John Sauder Chevrolet was a positive and pleasurable experience. I drove out of the dealership feeling satisfied instead of "taken". I will be a repeat customer.

They Lie and will rip you off - unhappy

Purchased a 2015 with a Tow Package. They had a hitch on it but it was not a tow package. The vehicle with a Tow package can to 4500 lbs with just a hitch 2000lbs. I purchased one with tow package, my paper work states with tow package, to pull my camper, I notified dealership they said sorry but they don't care. Then sails man told me to get a lawyer because they have lots of them. I wander why does a dealership have lots of lawyers, maybe because the lie and rip people off.

It's great to know there is still a small town dealership. I had just moved into the area and made a visit to Klinger Chevrolet. Tim Klinger is the owner and also does most of the sales, He told me he was 4th generation and they are celibrating their 82nd year at the same location. Had my new Chevy for 2 years now, the service, price and people can't be beat!
