A transaction that should have taken an hour tops - creebititature
A transaction that should have taken an hour tops required more than three and a half. Note that this is after the test drive was complete and the price was negotiated. I have no idea why it took so long. We initially sat at the salesperson's desk for about 90 minutes. When we finally met with the financial "professional" she was thoroughly incapable of completing any part of the transaction on her own. So, every few minutes we had to wait for another employee to come in to process the transaction. Several days after we finally drove off the lot, we were told that the income verification documents that we provided were not sufficient. No explanation for why and very unusual given other purchases that I have made. So, I called the salesperson to inquire about why our documents were a problem. He did not return several calls. After another few days, when we called to check on the status of the paperwork, we were told that in fact the original documents were fine. It's been two weeks and we still have not received documentation required to get plates. AVOID!!!
