Fairly terrible experience here I went in asked Koons service department to check my car for a faulty wheel bearing and to check if either of my tie rods and or ball joints had failed Instead, I Koons service department to check my car for a faulty wheel bearing and to check if either of my tie rods and or ball joints had failed Instead, I got a $2,700 price quote that included a myriad of "scheduled maintenance" related things that had nothing to do with what I brought the car in for in the first place They then quoted a price of $900 to put on two front tires. The exact same two front tires I had put on my car at Sullivan Tire that I had been charged for, including installation, for $450. The price difference reasoning? They were attempting to charge me $500 in labor to put on two tires. Considering Sullivan Tire put on the exact same two tires for $50 in labor, it seemed as though an additional $450 in labor to put on the same two tires was a bit extreme At the end of putting the tires on and getting a front end alignment, they then tell me the car is ready to be picked up. I asked them if my bearings, tie rods or ball joints were looked at and the response was, yeah I think your front drivers side wheel bearing may be off. After they finished the work they wanted to do and long after I asked them to check that particular issue out So to sum up. I went there asking for something specific to be looked at. They didn't look at it. They gave me a quote for nearly $3,000 worth of service related things I never asked them for. They then quoted me $450 more in labor to put on the exact same two tires I had put on for $50 in labor at another tire dealer. And in the end, they never even checked on the things I asked them to check on when I brought the car into their dealership in the first place I then bring my car to a "real" mechanic after leaving Koons and they tell me both my wheel bearings need to be replaced. This again being the thing I brought my car to Koons for in the first place but they didn't want to address that. Instead, they wanted to give me a $3,000 quote of services I didn't need and then followed that winning move up by trying to charge me $500 in labor to mount two lousy tires To say "never go to this dealership for service" would be a gross understatement. Service shops run like these are the worst kind. Not only are they focused solely on trying to quote you on services you don't need while ignoring what you ask them for. When they do actually do what you ask them to, they try charging you $500 to put on two tires other tire dealers, such as Sullivan Tire, do for $50 less in labor. So in other words, Koons is upcharge city when it comes to labor Stay away from Koons Chevrolet. If their service department is run like this, you can xxxx well be sure they aren't very honest when it comes to selling you any vehicles either More

Let me just say Charlie is amazing . I have a ford that I just purchased back in march. Although it was out of Baltimore Charlie has been on top of everything from day one . I was so blessed to have made the choice of coming to this particular Koons originally for a Md state inspection lol. Charlie is very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions. ... Charlie was there for me every step of the way! ... After my long fight I have finally have my vehicle running like it suppose to be let’s not forget I have a Ford and this is a Chevrolet dealership so you know parts n etc had to be ordered. I appreciate your service don’t worry please if you are thinking about a dealership for service go see Charlie!!! Outstanding More

The service department is amazing ! Charlie, who is the manager was kind, professional and knowledgeable. I had some major damage to my car and they gave me a great price. NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS LOCATION. The financial department are not honest. The service department does the bare minimum. My daughter took her car in for her free oil change and top of all Fluids. T department are not honest. The service department does the bare minimum. My daughter took her car in for her free oil change and top of all Fluids. The same day this service was done my daughter heat was not blowing out heat. This problem NEVER Existed prior to her service appointment on 1/11/22. I had my mechanic come out to diagnose the problem. There was very little antifreeze, and I have pictures. My daughter has not had this car for a year and there are no leaks. I called the service department and I asked what services are provided with the free oil change. I was told they top off all fluids. I then mentioned that there was little to none antifreeze in my daughter car. I was told “well I’m sorry that it was missed, what do you want me to do about it”. I’m Beyond floored, and I am reaching out to corporate about this matter. More
