I had been on a search as I lov HOLE IN THE SUB FRAME-Worst experience Ever! Beware. I found a used 2012 Escape Limited with 58k miles on their site. I had been on a search as I loved my last one and like the lifting rear window. Called and spoke to Lisa, after speaking a bit, I received an email from Eric. I live 2 hours away and after being told this car was extremely clean and well cared for by both people I agreed to complete a credit form to purchase as not to loose the deal. They would not accept a credit card down payment over the phone until I could get there. There was a 30 day return policy. My loan was approved and almost 3 WEEKS later the SUV was delivered to me, new driver seat cover and AC compressor, and they took my trade, 2014 Jetta Diesel, very nice 37k miles. Ok so, on delivery I went to start SUV, strange noise and delayed start. I was speaking to Eric, they forgot my paperwork and no spare key. I had him listen to noise. We agreed they would pick it up in 3 days later and give me a loaner during that time. I took it to a friend and put it on a lift. THERES A HOLE IN THE SUB FRAME! Mind you it Passed Inspection. I called Eric, he was surprised and stated they would look at it, along with other things, I had found over time the auto locks did not engage when in drive, when you push the Auto button for the heat and the AC came on, the heat was barely hot unless you turned it to 80, the wheel well they fixed rust on was just a piece of metal riveted on the inside, paint blisters were still there, the center console was loose, the passenger front door speaker was blown for a few things! First Eric apologized and said they missed the hole in the sub frame and would cancel the sale. Then I received calls from GM Scott Lewis. The outcome was they would fix the hole?! and other problems, I could take the SUV have my mechanic/ body shop look at it and make a final decision within 2 days. I was confused?and agreed. I spoke to my friends and they said, “NO” I called and left a voicemail for Scott. Hmmm there was a lot of radio silence and voice mails left. Seems I could only get in touch with Eric & the GM was suddenly too busy to answer his phone. Again, Eric was left to apologize. When I did reach Scott , he was very busy and had to deal with customers on the floor and told me he was only involved for 2 days. I guess I wasn’t a customer?! and that’s bull because these issues are discussed in daily morning meetings. He did not call me back several times and I ended up driving there on a Saturday morning to get my car back and end the deal... BTW, I didn’t get my car back, that’s another story, but I will NEVER deal with them again! I bought a beautiful used Escape from a Ford dealer in Holyoke MA and they were awesome!!! More

From the time I stepped foot into the building until I drove away from their auto lot, I was made to feel as though I was the only customer in the building. And I KNOW that I will continue to be received that way whether in person or on the phone for as long as I own my Beautiful Ford Explorer, and all my other vehicles I purchase there. That speaks volumes to me as it should to you. I feel like one of the family there. Isn't that the way things should be? Yes, Indeed! Thanks, to you all at Herb Chambers Ford. More

I found the Lincoln Town Car I looked for , for over a year. In a nutshell, I found the Towncar that had been eluding me for over a year. Last week I responded to an internet ad for a 2010 Towncar that t In a nutshell, I found the Towncar that had been eluding me for over a year. Last week I responded to an internet ad for a 2010 Towncar that turned out to be a low mileage beauty, baby blue, black cloth 1/2 top, extremely clean interior, with very nice leather seats, and low mileage which was a prerequisite of mine showing only 47,000. Lisa Chamberlain the Director of Buisnes Devlopment. ( internet specialist ) was very helpful, sending me the requested pictures that I asked for, leading me to feel comfortable making the 133 mile trek to Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree , Mass. Upon my scheduled arrival, Nathaniel Gamble was waiting for me and was a pleasure to have as my salesmen, Nate was Very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions about the car, even arranging the car to be raised on a lift for my inspection. During the evaluation of my trade , Wayne Lockard and I enjoyed a few minutes reminiscing about the good old days of the muscle car era. Interestingly, it turned out that we had been , almost neighbors, having lived in the same town in Connecticut. Eric Digirolamo, the sales manager, was more than willing to entertain my trade in, and in a short time we hammered out a mutually agreeable compromise leading to me purchasing the car on Saturday, a gentleman named Jim drove to Connecticut on Tuesday to deliver the car and pickup my trade , he was more than patient, assistaning me with the Ct. emissions process and the registration of my new Lincoln. In closing, I have purchased more than my share of cars from various manufacturers, and Herb Chambers Ford has been head and shoulders above ANY previous dealership I have done business with. I would like to HIGHLY recommend anyone interested in a new or used car to seriously consider taking the ride to one Herb’s dealerships !!! Just give Lisa a Call and tell her and Nate that Tom sent you !!! More

To my surprise I was greeted by a very intelligent and talented Sheila Smail Who had nothing but my interests in mind for the entire process. Periodically jarring the entire process I forgot I was even purchasing a vehicle it was like I was shopping with my best friend she answered all my questions and was willing to help me at every turn and because of that I will never shop anywhere else ever again. I also have sent to other people into the Braintree dealership because of my outstanding experience I had. I want to thank personally everyone who helped me Eric,flo,Lisa, John in services and more importantly Sheila smail who made buying a car so much fun, thank you ???? More

Great Experience: Beginning to End My wife and I were pricing used pickup trucks and came across this dealership, which was conveniently located about 10 minutes from our home. We had f My wife and I were pricing used pickup trucks and came across this dealership, which was conveniently located about 10 minutes from our home. We had found a truck that interested us listed on their online inventory and made our way over. When we got there, we found the truck and - since it hadn't been sent for service yet - it was blocked into a corner by about five other vehicles. After quickly taking some measurements to see if it would fit in our garage, we were met by our salesman, Mike Harrison. He offered us a test ride and when I told him I thought it would be too big for my garage, he suggested taking the test ride to my house to try it out...the perfect solution! As the truck was blocked in, he and another associate shuffled the cars around to free it from the corner and we were on our way. After getting to the house, it fit in the garage but was pretty tight, so I wasn't convinced. We drove back to the dealership and decided to call it a day at that point so we could take care of some other errands. There was no push/pressure from Mike or anyone else to get us to stay or begin negotiations or try another truck, which was a welcome surprise given past car purchase experiences. We went on our way and after discussing it, my wife and I decided the truck would be a good fit for us and that we should swing back through the dealership and see if we could get it for a price we were comfortable with. We called Mike to see if the truck was still available, he put us on hold to double check and confirm it was, then we headed back over. We had a nice, pressure free discussion on the price and - thanks to an admittedly very generous allowance for my trade in - we came to an agreement. Even though we weren't financing the truck, we were still met by the Used Car Manager Eric, who formally accepted the deal and congratulated us on our purchase. All associates we met with were polite and professional, which are qualities that weren't lost on my wife and I. Throughout the process, we both felt very comfortable and appreciated, without being overbearing or pressured. We were both very impressed and were happy to do business with a business that treats their customers in such a great way. The truck is in service now to repair some minor issues prior to me picking it up, but if their Service Dept is as effective and efficient as the Sales Team, I'd imagine it should be a quick and seamless transfer. I would absolutely do business with them in the future and would encourage anyone else in the market for a new car to do the same. Really impressed by their customer service and surprised by how easy the whole process was. More

I was looking for a Chrysler 300 Limited and found one at the Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree. These people were very professional and the hospitality was wonderful. Julianna Vargas-Lopez was my Sales perso the Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree. These people were very professional and the hospitality was wonderful. Julianna Vargas-Lopez was my Sales person and she was very helpful in providing me with answers to the questions I had in regards to the Chrysler 300 I was interested in. But lets talk about going "Above and Beyond" for a customer. This would be Miguel Silva, has was by far the best Sales Manager I have ever worked with when buying a car. Trust me, these people at Herb Chambers in Braintree will not let you down. It's definitely worth the visit. Oh yea, the have complimentary Ben and Jerry's icecream too.
