This is the 2nd VW I’ve got from Jared and the team at Lakeland VW. I’m always impressed with the courtesy and professionalism from the sales counter to the service counter. I love that they take a consul Lakeland VW. I’m always impressed with the courtesy and professionalism from the sales counter to the service counter. Terrible service! Started out by dealing with Shelly Baker who is their supposed “Customer first impression specialist.” Nothing special about her at all. She’s incapable of telephone calls and pushed me off on Anthony in finance who was even more inept than she was. Tried calling Jared Diveley, the GM twice, even left messages about my dissatisfaction and he never phoned back. I had money in hand ready to purchase and not a single person phoned me back. Welcome to the lazy Florida way of doing business. Reported them to the BBB. More

This was the third request for a survey. I did not want to do another survey for this dealership but since I still did not get any courtesy call from anyone from this place so I thought I s I did not want to do another survey for this dealership but since I still did not get any courtesy call from anyone from this place so I thought I should. I was told that my car was not covered under extended warranty for valve cover gasket. Both GM and the service manager were extremely rude and hung up the phone while I was trying to explain to them that it should be covered under diesel extended warranty. VW of America called me and admitted that the dealership was wrong and I was going to get a call from this dealership to have my repairs done under warranty. I never got a call. This shows how much they care about their jobs and how much knowledge they have about VW warranties at this dealership. I would still be ok if I would get an apology call from the rude GM. From the way he talked over the phone , I can tell he would never admit he was wrong even though he was 100% wrong... I am not sure how they will be able to lead by example at this place when the leadership does not know how to talk to a VW customer. Their poor excuse was that they did not sell me the car to me and they did not service it. However, they forget that they have to honor the VW warranty and treat the customer with respect. I am so grateful that VW of America acknowledged the issue right away and made it right. They were very polite and apologetic. More
