Worst Service EVER! I don't know where to start honestly however I have a Dodge Avenger that has been to this service center two times in two weeks for transmission issue I don't know where to start honestly however I have a Dodge Avenger that has been to this service center two times in two weeks for transmission issues!! Tonight would have been the third time in over two weeks however I decided to go to a reputable service center at Newark Dodge and have it fixed the right way the first time!!Unfortunately, I have dealt with Mark both times and he refused to go over what was wrong with the transmission both times after I specifically asked what they did to "fix it"". He was rude and short with me after I questioned the work his shop had done. The transmission is covered under warranty and yet they continue to put my life in jeopardy as each time the transmission failed it was on a very busy highway or in the middle of an intersection. They can't accept cars onto their lot after hours as they lock up like Ft Knox overnight. They will not call you back after you ask them to do so multiple times. Mr know it all Mark stated the first time this issue came about the car would be ready by the next day...well guess what it wasn't as they needed additional parts...you don't what parts you need when you first looked at it? Rookie move! No shuttle service was ever offered and only a lot of broken promises and never any follow through to take care of the customer. Stay away from this service center you will not be satisfied. Dodge transmissions have been known to be junk but this certainly is an eye opener/ Never Dodge again!! Mary W. More

Horrible Service Center I recently dropped my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 off on Aug 5th 2016 to have it serviced. The problem was a Shift Solenoid issue inside the transmission whic I recently dropped my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 off on Aug 5th 2016 to have it serviced. The problem was a Shift Solenoid issue inside the transmission which is covered by my Power train Warranty. When I dropped it off the AC and everything worked fine other then it would only run in 4th gear due to the shift solenoid. They then call me and tell me that my TCM (Transmission Control Module) was bad and would cost about $1100 and not covered by warranty. So i picked vehicle up and Air Conditioning no longer worked. I then did my homework and found out that they blew a fuse, didn't even try to diagnose the issue and just said that it was the TCM. I swapped out the fuse, the AC started working again and the TCM code went away. Since then, I have taken to another dealership and they have fixed the only problem I had which was a faulty shift solenoid. To make things worse, I have had to pay Carman $120 for an uncovered warranty issue that they caused which was only a blown fuse that they caused. I have also tried to reach out to their Service director after and automated recording phone call was made from him and have yet to hear back. Which I don't think that I ever will. So if you need work to your vehicle, take your service elsewhere unless you want more problems then what you brought it in with. Thank You, Brian I. More

Goodyear tires A 2009 Jeep Compass with 26,000, tires have dry rot. Went to dealer, they sent me on a wild goose chase to a Goodyear dealer. Plus dealer told me, if I wanted new tires, they could not install before Feb, it was the middle of Jan. Finally found the right Goodyear dealer and they told me front tire ball joint was loose and needed to be fixed before I stall new tire (I agree). Carman did not help me at all. Not saying much about helping me at all. I feel they just want to sell cars and after that you are on your own! More

Rescheduled simple oil change before holidays I work in customer service and deal with issues and complaints often so when my wife schedules an apt I figure business as usual. Right before Christmas we receive a voicemail stating we can not complete your oil change because we do not have enough techs. This is not the way you deal with customers and a shortage of staffing is not the scheduled customers problem. Offer overtime ask for extra help who knows maybe do not schedule so many appointments if you do not want business. Simple process your mistake your resolution offer compensation or something for the customer. Poorly run service department More
