We first met Shaker Sales Manager Salvatore Catalano back in June 2021 during the purchase of my girlfriend's 2020 Ford Edge which she and I are very happy with. One year later, coming back in with our first in June 2021 during the purchase of my girlfriend's 2020 Ford Edge which she and I are very happy with. One year later, coming back in with our first Ford Edge service I again encountered Sal. We had a wonderful and very enjoyable conversation while I was waiting for the oil change. We discussed Shaker's core value system of operating with integrity, providing excellent service before, during and after the vehicle sale and operating with absolute transparency, as their motto states, during the sales process, this is precisely what we have witnessed over the last year. I mentioned to Sal my upcoming pickup truck needs for my new new career and for use in maintaining our Southbury property. While there, Sal introduced me to one of their sales representatives Tyler Mei. Tyler and I had a pleasant and brief discussion about my upcoming vehicle needs, budget and timeline to acquire the new truck, I explained I needed a week or so to do a bit more research and allow time to finalize my new job offer. We exchanged information and agreed to follow-up with one another in a weeks' time. During the week I was never pressured, over contacted or over sold, I was never made to feel uncomfortable or uneasy in anyway dealing with Tylor. I enjoyed working with Tyler a great deal, he was very kind pleasant, personable, cordial and very knowledgeable about the vehicle options that existed in Shakers inventory. We agreed to meet one afternoon on April 7th for a test drive of a 2019 F-150 XLT Sport CrewCab pickup that he found and thought it would be a good fit for what I needed. We had a blast on the drive, had fun, had some good laughs and I ended up falling in love with the truck and put a deposit down right after we got back to hold it until I lined up the financing. That's when I encountered finance manager Chris Arena, Chris was super helpful ensuring the vehicle would be held allowing ample time to get all my financing affairs in place. And like Sal and Tyler, Chris followed the same core Shaker principals of leading with excellent communication, no-haggle pricing discussions, and overall no stress vehicle transaction. During the week I lined up my loan closing, new insurance and final pricing after speaking with Chris, who explained in detail all extended warranty options. I told Chris I would like the bottom line price to also include Shakers Platinum, zero deductible warranty and that I would be coming on April 14th at 2 PM right after my loan closing with my check and to close on the truck. On the 14th I first met Tyler, we did a final walk through of the vehicle which was professionally detailed and made ready to take home that day and also prepared the plates once Chris registered the truck. The closing process with Chris was super smooth and very friendly and efficient, we had the process wrapped up in less than 20 mins. Chris made me feel that my new business was highly valued and greatly appreciated. Tyler was great all the way through, because I now had 2 vehicles at their shop and I was the only driver that day, Tyler offered to drive my new truck back to Southbury following me with one of his colleagues who trailed in an escort vehicle so Tyler could get a ride back, these guys went above and beyond to solve my vehicle delivery. I couldn't be more happy with our second vehicle purchase as I am today, I would highly recommend Shaker and their award winning team to assist you with your next vehicle purchase as well. On your next visit be sure to ask for Sal and Tyler, they will provide you with the same exemplary service we experienced. they delivered me a 2017 Lincoln Navigator with problems I had to bring it back in for 3 days and they did not fix the problems. No Ford dealer ever blew me off like this before. More

Shopped for an SUV, disliked this beautiful place! As weird as it sounds, I didn't buy the ruby red 2019 ford Explorer from Sal Catalano because of their glorious (over the top) bathroom and the young As weird as it sounds, I didn't buy the ruby red 2019 ford Explorer from Sal Catalano because of their glorious (over the top) bathroom and the young salesman who appeared to be evesdroppoing on us! I have to say, after driving 8 cars from 8 different dealerships (6 new 2 used) I am something of an expert on how much money the NW CT dealerships are willing to spend on their bathrooms for their customers. I have never seen such luxury as in the Shaker bathroom. It is better than the opera house, the Athenium, and the Corbin Corners Mall. Why waste such money? Perhaps they overcharge someone somewhere? I believe the Nissan, Mazda, Honda,and Toyota dealerships all would agree; Save the customer money. It's the car we want to live in, not the restroom. And the evesdropping salesperson?...he may have just been immersed in his cell, but he was sitting 6 inches from my husband and I for 20 minutes while we tried to whisper our thoughts to each other....not cool More

I needed a daily driber I own a corvette and jeep wrangler with 35" tires....so I've been searching for the right daily driver. I found Shaker Ford on CarGurus and Cars.com, I own a corvette and jeep wrangler with 35" tires....so I've been searching for the right daily driver. I found Shaker Ford on CarGurus and Cars.com, I don't live on this side of the state and never heard of them. They have a great selection of vehicles both new, used, and from trade in. This Camry was the lowest miled, best priced, newest used car I found in months. For a 2009, it is near mint condition with only 43k on it. Shaker also put a new set of tires on before I left. More

From walking in the door to meeting our fabulous sales representative, Sal Catalano, to ordering the truck, to Manny Pinho's explanation of financing options, through production updates and delivery, the entire process was pleasant and seamless; every step exceeded my rather elevated expectations. When the time comes to purchase another new car, Family Ford will be my first stop and Sal's is the only name I'll need to know. I went in for a new car but I found a dealership. More

He was very professional as well knowledgeable about the different cars we test drove. Buying a car can be stressful but not at Shakers it was a smooth!! From Sal in sales to Cindy in finance whom made all that paper work so simple for us they made it a wonderful non stressful buying experience. My experience with him was enjoyable from the beginning to the end. He was professional and courteous and extremely mindful of my schedule and time. He answered every question I had about the vehicles we were looking at, and he clearly does his due diligence on the technology and amenities that are offered. Manny took care of our financing for us. We were in and out of his office with new plates and registration within 25 minutes. He had a full morning, and came in early to accommodate us. While paper work printed, we talked about soccer, vacations and our families. He made our time in his office casual and comfortable! After we purchased and signed for the car, Sal sat with me and took me through every single feature, with an explanation and suggestion for each. He also called me a few times to see if there were any questions I had. He wasn’t pushy during the sale, he wasn’t rushed, and he made us feel like he genuinely wanted us in the best vehicle for our needs and family. The dealership was clean, the staff was kind, they even accommodated our children in a kids area with games and snacks. We will continue purchasing future vehicles from Shakers Ford and Sal, as they were able to turn what can be a bothersome task into a truly relaxing experience.
