I met Sal and from the moment that we met he was professional, courteous and respectful of my time. He asked pertinent questions and we agreed on a Ford Taurus. Once the vehicle was selected I had the privilege of working with Mr. Pinho to get the best financing available to me. once the vehicle was purchased I was asked to pick it up and Sal sat with me in the new car and explained every feature. We live in Wethersfield so making the drive out to Shaker Ford to see a vehicle was not a slam dunk for me when considering how a dealer could support my purchase but I glad I did. Sal was outstanding! Very informative and accommodating. He is forthcoming, honest and as all salespeople should be low pressure letting the product and his service do the talking. His partner Manny who provided an easy to understand picture of the fiancé picture for our purchase is also top shelf. I don't purchase vehicles every day but I do know outstanding service. Sal and Manny are top shelf! Even if your not thinking of a Ford, which I must say has been a great choice for us. Shaker Ford is a dealer that others should look to when considering how to improve their customer service. Way to go guys! Thank you Sal Catalano!!! We are the proud owners of a 2014 Ford Escape. We could not have done it with out Sal. He understood that we needed a car and it had to be affordable. He took the time to listen to our needs and explained the differences in engine size. Sal then let us drive both cars to make the decision ourselves. We were excited to get the car we could afford and were excited about. On delivery Sal took the time to go over the car thoroughly. He walked us through all the technology and helped us set up the display and iphone with bluetooth. What was outstanding is Sal was willing to work later than he usually does that night. He made sure that we were satisfied and didn't feel rushed!! Sal also made himself available to us for any further questions as well as assisting with future service for our new car. Having purchased my last new car from Shaker Ford (which we still own), I knew this was the dealer for me. My salesman Salvatore Catalano is first class, as is the finance officer Manny Pinho. These people really 'know their stuff', and made this car purchase easy and affordable! They took care of everything from the trade-in of my old vehicle and the transfer of registration and insurance, to the financing of my new car. I was in and out in a matter of a few hours, and extremely satisfied. I also must thank owner Ed Shaker and his family for giving me a great deal, and really treating me like family. Of course, I highly recommend Shaker Ford, and salesman Salvatore Catalano, to anyone looking to purchase their next car! More
