It could of been better. .. our sales representative was not prepared when we got there. Took 4 hrs between paying the deposit and then having an issue with insurance. My husband and I received an email from Merchants Auto stating they were interested in purchasing our used vehicle (this was an instant offer through KBB). We emailed back and forth to set up an appointme stating they were interested in purchasing our used vehicle (this was an instant offer through KBB). We emailed back and forth to set up an appointment, and I was very clear we were not interested in trading it in or in the market for a new vehicle at this time but will be in the coming months. I scheduled the appointment and was told to ask for Samir. A different gentleman greeted us (Butch or Rich or something...he offered his business card but clearly missed the mark when I said I would never come back and will be sure to share our experience) and said Samir was not available, then refused to acknowledge the offer I had in writing stating if the car is as stated, they would give $500 over the KBB value because they "are desperate for used vehicles" The guy gave us a very low offer, said he would only honor if we were going to do a trade. I have zero interest in working with this company again. When the time comes for a new vehicle, this is the last place I would ever consider. Bunch of scammers. Beware. More

I’ve never been more shafted by a dealership in my life. I wanted to buy a car. They sent me up with a test drive. I saw it online because they emailed me and when I went in they said oh it does it mean our I wanted to buy a car. They sent me up with a test drive. Probably because I told them that I was going to be paying cash and that they couldn’t sell me financing. I then put more than half down on another vehicle, and all it was waiting for was to get the title. All of a sudden it doesn’t meet their standards after a week and the vehicle is no longer there. This happened to me twice going into there and finding out that it doesn’t meet their standards yet. They posted on their website and when they find out that I’m paying cash and not financing it. All of a sudden the vehicle actually disappeared, I’m thinking that maybe somebody else bought it because they financed it at 26% I spoke with the Director and he told me that he was going to find me a vehicle at their cost to make sure that I was happy and be in touch with me. That was a month ago. Since then I have put many inquiries on the vehicles that they have posted on the website asking if it was available. Week after week I never heard anything. If you have bad credit, I need financing then. Yeah definitely go there because they’re xxxxxxxx. If in the event that you fall in love with a vehicle and all of a sudden it disappears, it’s because they weren’t gonna make as much money on you as they were on somebody else. To this day, I still have not gotten an email or a text or a phone call👎👎👎 The only reason I rated it as a 1 is because they didn’t have a zero that I could rate it. More

Our experience was the best we ever had buying anything. Michael Koltz was our sales professional and I without a hesitation would highly recommend him with no hesitation. His knowledge on vehicles was impressive and his follow through on all the little questions I had was superb. Spending money right now on big ticket items is hard, Merchants Auto made it the best experience we ever had. I will never buy a car anywhere else. They were all so great and actually went above and beyond, my son said to me "mom, send them a fruit basket". I wasted so much valuable time shopping around, TRUST ME.....START WITH MERCHANT AUTO, HOOKSETT NH. I would ask for Michael Koltz, his automobile background is impressive, he does not work on commission, he is a U.S. Veteran special forces, he is honest and is the one I will search out on buying our next few cars (I have 6 children). 5 star, gold start, excellent rating with me and my family. We got the best Suburban, we love it. More

I was willing to buy a car, I just wanted a slightly better deal. Semir was rude, unprofessional, and slammed his laptop shut, walked away, and yelled “then I’m not selling you a car”. They had inventory of the vehicle I wanted, but that is the ONLY reason I'd go back. My email responses to their ads were unanswered. I was not treated with respect, consideration or appreciation. At one point the salesman got up and walked off for 1/2 hour with zero explanation. You don't do that to a customer. Nor do you say you're going to call them within 48 hours, but let 10 days go by. Emails weren't returned, I was forgotten, I was kept waiting with no explanation, the process took weeks longer than typical, documents that were supposed to be sent were not sent, or sent to the wrong address. And they have this ridiculous "one key" policy. So I have to take hours to go get a second key and remote, at a cost of up to $300. The vehicle surely came with two keys originally. I cannot imagine they didn't charge the lessor of the vehicle prior to me for a lost key. And I got no owner's manual. Figuring out the electronics is not always intuitive. More
