I purchased this car at Ira Toyota in Danvers Massachusetts and have had all service performed at that dealership. The two service visits at Ira's were not acceptable. The problem was more management style and taking responsibility for the situation. As a long time senior manager in the customer service field of an electronics company, I understood the poor response was not associated with the worker bees, no matter what their title was it was a senior manager issue. I never received a survey from Ira on either occurrence. Acton Toyota employees from the people in the service entrance, Assistant Service Managers, parts people all have an excellent attitude and they take care of you. That is senior management at work. I visited the dealership on 2/10/10 for my 30k service for my 2008 Prius. In addition to the normal service I had multiple questions about the recent information in the news about the 2010 Prius models. for my 2008 Prius. Brian was patient as I went through my few items of concern and explained about the current plan for correction for the 2010 models. I expcted to be there for 2 to 2.5 hours for 30K service and they exceeded my expoectation by having two people service my vehicle and getting me back on the road in 1.5 hours. The service department is dedicated to great customer service and explaining what maintenace was performed at time of check out. I highly reccomend them for service to any Toyota vehicle....and I love my 2008 Prius. More
I came to Toyota to buy a Tacoma. I had gotten a quote on line before I arrived, expecting to just show up, test drive it and buy. When we arrived, Steve was unavailable at the time, so Shawn stepped in and line before I arrived, expecting to just show up, test drive it and buy. When we arrived, Steve was unavailable at the time, so Shawn stepped in and took care of my test drive and answered any questions I had. Shawn's no pressure attitude is how car buying should be. We agreed upon a fair price and made a deal. Three and a half hours after first walking in the door, I was heading home in my new Tacoma. Before we left, Steve came out to show us some of the unique features and answer any questions. This was the best car buying experience I have had. More

I have had 3 other Toyota products. All have been wonderful. Now it was time for me to get the Vehicle of my choice. I had wanted a Rav4 for many years. Since My 1999 was wearing thin it was time wonderful. Now it was time for me to get the Vehicle of my choice. I had wanted a Rav4 for many years. Since My 1999 was wearing thin it was time. I got the Rav4 of my dreams. I went from a basic to a sport Model. I am still learning the Bells and Whistles but I know that I can call Neil anytime or anyone else at the company to explain to me why something is hard for me to understand. Neil is a wonderful salesperson available and friendly. I stopped one day to talk about the Rav4 and he gave me some time that was the initial information interview to the Rav4. I had planned to purchase later but one day I thought I was having car trouble (turns out I was sliding on Ice--not brake problems). I called and Neil set me up with a test drive that evening. The Rav4 was great but I really wanted the Sun Roof so I settled on the Rav4 Sport on the lot. Unfortunately the recall occurred the day before I was to pick it up. Neil was all apoligies and as soon as the car was ready I paid and drove it off the lot. Everyone has been extremely friendly and accomadating to me in this 25 year span and I am in love with your product and your professional staff. Although this was a small, no-profit type of service, Neil Schwartz was as courteous to us as if we were going to be spending hundreds of dollars. He met us as the car, processed the paperwork quickly, and answered our questions, giving us his full attention and as much time as we needed. He treated my husband and I with respect - as if we were the most important customers in the world. In the past, I have also dealt with Randy Irwin and have nice things to say about him as well. We have used Acton Toyota since 1999 when we bought a (then) new Toyota Camry. At the time, Jeff Cotran was in charge of their new email sales site and we found that working with him was a pleasure. Recently we sought him out again - in the purchase of a 2007 Corolla for our son and as expected, he was friendly, honest, straight-forward and easy to deal with. We are soon going to be in the market for a new Toyota and after talking with Neil, we feel it will be the right choice once again. To be truthful, our main reason for buying another Toyota is simply because of the amazing experience we have had with their service department. Toyotas certainly don't need more service than other cars - but it is so nice to be well taken care of and have our Toyota expertly serviced every time we go in. Whenever friends talk about buying a new car, we always tell them about Acton Toyota's service department - we feel it is the place to go. The entrance to the service department is huge, indoors and clean. The waiting area has most of the amenities of home - including great coffee. A little restaurant upstairs can answer any hunger needs for long waits - and of course there is a wireless connection. After the service person explains what has been done, your car is driven to meet you - no more trekking through a cold parking lot looking for your car. At Acton Toyota car buying was a totally different(pleasant, enjoyable) experience than I had anticipated. One thing that stands out with all the 3 people were they said something upfront and stuck to that, whether it was price or any offering. Acton Toyota has changed the way cars are bought with the internet sales team. Its no nonsense stuff. No more spending hours negotiating at dealership and most importantly you feel not at all pressured into entering any deal(which I experienced at other dealership) it was about what I want :-). Hoping to see the same with service department in future ;) More
Hi, Even without an appointment, if I come early the service has been fast. Better yet, the paperwork is done quickly and the mechanics seem able to rapidly and correctly troubleshoot problems if I cann service has been fast. I've NEVER had to go back and have an incorrectly done repair repeated. Recently, I had a part fail that was under warranty having been replaced only weeks before. The repair was fully covered both parts AND labor. The unlimited mileage 1 year warranty is a good one. Acton Toyota feeds customers and the food from their in house cafeteria is excellent. Work stations are provided so you can carry one usefully while a repair is underway. The place runs like a well oiled machine. I have found this a cost effective to deal with automotive repairs I cannot handle myself. More
