I returned several days in the same week and Jack helped me through my decision-making process until I had found a car that was exactly right. I've had sales managers try to sneak in unnecessary dealer fees like "nitrogen fees or "dealership processing fees" and with either delayed or unprofessional responses. Safe to say, I had experienced concrete examples of what a visit to a car dealership shouldn't look like. Right off the bat, Alex was great to work with, which was such a refreshing feeling. To start, he cut out all the BS, unnecessary fees that I had to wrestle back and forth with other dealers. He prepared all the necessary paper work upfront, making it clear and transparent for what went into the cost of the car and answered any of our questions or concerns. He was professional, friendly and cordial throughout the entire process. As we got to the negotiation process, like many consumers, I took his price to other dealers and they advised me to take his deal over theirs! As with any other sales experience, a deal doesn't happen until the customer agrees the price of the product meets its perceived value. The car itself (2020 4Runner, TRD off road) inherently has great value but I have to say it was Alex and the Acton Toyota Team that made us want to purchase it from this specific dealership. In a world that's shifting to online retail, Alex is a prime example of how traditional in-person sales can still succeed. And finally for more context, this was during the COVID pandemic and at a time where all of us are being cautious and concerned about our health and financial wellbeing, Alex and his team treated my family's priorities like it was their own.
