Good car salesman bad car service Took my Chevy Equinox for it's first oil change and to get my defogger checked cause it was giving me problems on the cold mornings we been having. I just got the car in may so I thought I could get it looked at like my AC switch that wasn't working when I first bought the car and they fixed right away, can't remember the name of the service guy that took care of me cause he didn't say who he was. Had like an attitude when he asked if I had an appointment which I told him I made it online an called the day before to confirm and then for him to tell me it wasn't in the system. I thought my car was under full warranty so I thought I wouldn't be charged to get it checked and was told that I was gonna have to pay just to check it which I told him to forget it cause I didn't felt like I was getting treated right from the start and he didn't bother to check first if the car was under warranty. When my car was done nobody came out to explain to me like they did to the person before me to see what was done to my car or anything so I'm not sure if I want to go back for any kind of service there. More

I found the Silverado I wanted on the Advantage web site for about $2K less than I could buy one locally. I drove from Peoria over 100 miles to purchase from Advantage when they also offered me (by email, based on some photos and my AutoTrader.com appraisal) about $2K more for my old truck than I was offered locally. Upon arrival at their dealership, my old truck appraised as expected, and from there the purchase just happened with no surprises. It was amazing! I got a great deal without the usual back-and-forth price games. And that is what made this my best car buying experience ever. More

Positive Customer Experience I have never ever written a review for anything, however after the tremendous customer care I received this past Saturday I’m compelled to express in I have never ever written a review for anything, however after the tremendous customer care I received this past Saturday I’m compelled to express in detail my positive customer experience and appreciation to “Doc and the rest of the Advantage Chevy sales professionals. The entire process was effortless. I had done my due diligence prior to contacting Advantage so I knew how much to expect to pay but I did not expect to encounter such a kind, patient knowledgeable and highly professional sales expert. Doc Dockery was all of that and more. He listened and understood my situation and reassured me every step of the way, that everything was going to be alright. He did the little things; like take the parking sticker out or my old car and put it in the new one. He help me transfer my stuff from the old car to the new one. He stayed with me long after the sale and after everyone else has gone to make sure I was comfortable in the car and helped to program OnStar to navigate me home. He went above and beyond to explain all the special features in the car making sure I understood how to properly use them. As a female shopping by myself I didn’t’ feel pressured, intimidated or talked down to. Every person I tt was genuine, warm and friendly. I found the showroom to be nice and clean. A very large selections of cars and truck in all kinds of color on site. What I saw online was actually available. The sales professionals were well groomed and few were are down right handsome!! I didn’t use the bathroom so I don’t know how the facilities were kept. I wasn’t offered any refreshments nor did I see any coffee or vending machines. Finally, the very most disenchanting part of my entire experience was the “simple” fact that Advantage Chevy sold me a car with a empty tank of gas. That was extremely disappointing to say the least. Over all I would say that is was definitely worth the 20 plus miles drive. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is seriously considering purchasing a new vehicle .
