The service department is what keeps the sales peoples jobs if it was not for them you would be out of business, you should buy them a drink or lunch once in a while, because I can just go an buy a use car on autotrader and take it to the dealership and have the service department fix my car. All the sales people do is walk around. I have worked in this industry and know what it is like, they stand outside in the heat all day long while you guys sit in the ac and make more money than them. They are the reason you guys eat. People go in knowing what they want to buy and there budget, it is not that hard to look up online. The product sells itself. The service department are better sales people then you. I sat in the new car lobby and waited for my car to be fixed and no one approached me and asked if I was in the market for a new car or wanted to trade in my car. More

I arrived 10 minutes before my 10am appointment for an oil change and left 2 hours 15 minutes later. Last time it took 1 hour for an oil change with an appointment...Don’t think I will be servicing my oil change and left 2 hours 15 minutes later. There are several auto service companies near me.
