If you are planning on purchasing across state lines from this dealership, I would not recommend. They were initially pleasant to work with but once I picked up the vehicle and drove away, their true custome this dealership, I would not recommend. They were initially pleasant to work with but once I picked up the vehicle and drove away, their true customer service, or lack thereof, was unveiled. While my sales rep was helpful, everything else was terrible. I signed all of the paperwork well in advance of my pick up date since I was located in Michigan. The initial person that I worked with for the contract paperwork said that I would receive my copies when I picked up the car. On the day of pick up, September 18th, the car was ready to go but no paperwork was available. I was told then that copies of the contract paperwork as well as title memorandum would be mailed. On October 7th I reached out to my sales rep as I still had received no paperwork at all. After more follow ups, I finally received the title info on October 14th. But still no contract paperwork. More follow ups. I was told on 10/15 that the sales manager said that paperwork was being mailed. I eventually received this paperwork week of 10/19. My temp tag expires on 11/1. Considering the long delay in getting the title info from the dealership, the subsequent time it takes the bank to process the title transfer package and send to Michigan Secretary of State, and the obvious inherent delay in getting appointments at Secretary of State during this COVID era, I asked for a tag extension. Bear in mind, had dealership been prompt in getting my title info to me, this would have been a non-issue. At any rate, they have refused to do so. I worked through my sales rep who forwarded my text messages to someone internal and also forwarded me to her VM. I have yet to EVER hear back from her. But my rep has texted me to say that they cannot (will not?) help me. When all was said and done, my tag expired for several days before I eventually was able to get the title and new tag. There was another issue early on that ultimately resolved on its own. Not sure who (Ally or dealership), if anyone, was at fault and I only bring it up because the communication during this issue was atrocious. I worked through my sales rep initially but due to the severity of this issue, I escalated to the sales manager. I left several messages and never got a call back. I then escalated to general manager several times and never received a single call back. I eventually got in touch with the sales manager. But, it took SO MANY calls, texts, and VMs to eventually speak with someone. And, again, the general manager NEVER bothered to call me back. Not even to ensure everything got resolved to my satisfaction. Great customer service should be at all levels, especially with the leadership team. The impression I have is that the GM really doesn’t care. So, if you are looking for good customer service, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. I have bought a lot of cars over the years from many dealerships and this was, by far, the most miserable experience in my life. More
