Rather than trying to convince us to consider another Buick or GMC vehicle, Mike and Omar listened to what we were really looking for, and recommended a pre-owned Kia Sorento they had available, which we test drove and ultimately purchased. The Finance process was also very simple thanks to Bill Lucey. Based on this experience, I would heartily recommend Sullivan to anyone looking for a quality vehicle at a very fair price. More

Driving the car I want because of excellent service When we arrived at Sullivan we already knew what vehicle we wanted to buy and that they did not have the color we wanted. Shelley greeted us at the door and we sat down to discuss what exactly we were looking for. I let her know that we wanted an GMC Acadia Limited with very specific features in the color blue. I let her know I searched their website and they did not have the color I wanted. My mind was set on a specific color, I was not going to make a purchase this large and not get what I wanted. Shelley agreed and she quickly went to work finding the exact vehicle we wanted. We were at different dealer earlier that week and they had the exact car we wanted but the sales rep was to pushy even though I told them I didn't want to buy a vehicle that day. Plus I wanted to search around. Not only is it important for me to buy the exact vehicle I want but it is important to me that I buy it from someone I like. She found the car I wanted which was located in Madison, WI and let us know that she could get the car here by Tuesday. Tuesday did not work for us, we would not be able to come to the dealership again until Wednesday which was Shelley's day off. Shelley had no problem coming in on her day off to finalize everything and show us our new vehicle. She spent a lot of time going over the features with us and setting up our onstar. It was a pleasure working with Shelley and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy. We also had some interaction with Bill Lucey, when we went over extended warranties and got down to paying for the vehicle. We wanted to use cash, a loan and put a small portion on a credit card so we could gain some miles. Bill worked with us to find the right warranty for our needs and made the checking out process similar as could be. Overall the experience at Sullivan in Arlington Heights was refreshing and easy. If you are like me you dread going to buy a vehicle, it's time consuming and you often have to deal with some over aggressive sales reps, this was not the case at Sullivan. We are loving our new car! She then called the day of my appointment to confirm. That was IT! No hassling me with 3 emails and phone calls a day like the other dealerships I had contacted! So that's a huge plus!!! When I got there I was greeted by Phil, he was awesome. He was very laidback, down-to-earth, and not pushy at all! My aunt came along with me to look at the car and he offered multiple times to walk away and give us time to talk about the purchase! That was really nice. Most salesmen wont leave you alone for even a second! Mike helped me get the lowest interest rate he could, which is always great!!! I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle! More
The Ultimate Experience Purchasing a new vehicle (auto in my case) is a very tiresome and tedious process......walking around from one dealer to another, looking at vehicles, Purchasing a new vehicle (auto in my case) is a very tiresome and tedious process......walking around from one dealer to another, looking at vehicles, opening doors, sitting in them, test driving them and then the dreaded sales line...... "if we meet your price will you purchase one today." NO! These aren't the types of purchases made at a moment's notice. It requires research, identifying your specific need/want, budgets, and what fits you, not what a dealer wants to fit you into. Our sales associate was Eliot Pergricht. We detailed our specific requirements, type of vehicle being considered, our budget and off he went. We looked at vehicles in their inventory, identified ones that might be a good fit and Eliot did an excellent job, in his self controlled manner in discussing the vehicles, pros/cons without any pressurized sales or, "would you buy today" sales approach. Eliot understands the process of purchasing a vehicle, the money involved, and the emotional stress of making such a decision, considering the pool of dealers, autos, choices and post cognitive dissonance. What is that? In marketing circles, a customer's complete satisfaction with the entire process of buying a car, especially the product itself. The Sullivan business model is very much customer oriented with a focus on helping the customer reach their objective....financial and product wise. They are very honest and right up front. If they can't meet your financial targets, they'll tell you so, not try to downgrade you into a vehicle that you may not be happy with in the end, and the customer becomes the loser. Eliot was quick to bring vehicles to us, not have us walk all over the lot peering through darkened windows only to get more frustrated and walk out disgusted. He told us to relax, and brought the vehicle to us for review and a test drive. As customers, we expected nothing more and nothing less. I strongly recommend Eliot if you are looking for a Buick. He's experienced, knowledgeable, very personable and I guarantee you will have a good experience. Not only Eliot, but other members of the Sullivan team we dealt with were great people.....tall Mike, Gabriel, and even the Finance closer, Mike O'Connell were very friendly and personable, and each in his own way had nothing but the kindest words to say about Mr. Sullivan and the organization.
