I took my car for an oil change because of a coupon that was sent. I could access the coupon, but couldn't download and print it. Fortunately, the dealer still honored the deal, but then found me an even was sent. I could access the coupon, but couldn't download and print it. Fortunately, the dealer still honored the deal, but then found me an even better deal. Great...I was a satisfied customer at that point. Four days later, my battery dies. I get and understand batteries are finicky and my factory battery was due to be replaced. However, when you run diagnostics on my car 4 days prior and said everything checks out fine with the battery, that's where I have an issue. I was warned about 3 other things - 2 that need replacing and 1 that is upcoming - none of which were the battery. I get the battery replaced and drive off the lot. Driver headlight is out. With the service department close to closing, no way I was going to return so I went to my local auto parts store and replaced both headlight bulbs. Had these items happened a week after me being at the dealership, no problem. But the fact I was just there and diagnostics were run and your tech didn't notice the original factory battery and think that should have been a warning that it needs to be replaced soon (despite it supposedly passing all the tests). Or after the battery is replaced and no one notices the headlight out (and perhaps that is my fault for not looking in the first place). More
