Audi Danbury

This is the second car we've leased from Danbury Audi. We live in NYC and weekend here in CT. We like to spend money up here to support the area, but typically have our Audi serviced in Manhattan. From now on, however, we'll do the servicing in Danbury as well since they'll make it so easy with a loaner car and all. From the folks on the the phone to all everyone saying hello and welcoming us like family, it was a GREAT experience. Tom Weeks wasn't only completely knowledgeable, but very good humored and totally honest. When I asked him about a certain color combination he gave me his honest felling which was that he didn't like it so much.... cracked us up and we ended up with the most beautiful exterior and interior combination with all the bells and whistles too. It's a Small World. We had bought our first Audi 22 years ago from Tony at another Dealership that shall not be mentioned. I needed a part for our 22 year old Audi and was in Danbury and stopped into the Dealership to order the part. When I turned around there was Tony. O happy days! It was great seeing him again. I also was going to need service on the 1991 200 Avant and the A4 Cab. Tony introduced me to John Hansen and I was off and running. We had leased the A4 and were going to buy it. Tony helped us get a very good deal. So that made two cars we bought from Tony. The service that John Hansen has taken care of has been the most professional that I have ever experienced!! I have owned over 20 different cars from Europe and had to have them serviced from one time or another. It is a joy to had over the payment each time knowing that the job was done the first time correctly and at a fair price. Because of the great relationship with service and Tony's continued interest in that the Dealership was taking excellent care of us and our cars. We went back up to Tony for our newest addition. We were looking at a Q5 and the new Allroad. Tony took a lot of time to explain the differences between the two and gave very good comparative teat drives. The Allroad won out. Our daughter is going to be getting her licence this summer so we may be back for a used A3 TDI. I am a LEED Designer and having a very GREEN car is important. The team of Steve Chrystone and Jim Ceccarelli were outstanding to work with! They gave me a great price, were very courteous, and they never pushed "up-sells" such as extended warranties, protective packages, etc.. Our salesman Steve was very thorough throughout the selling process, and spent a good deal of time with us going over details of the car during delivery. He even gave us a follow-up call the next day to make sure we were happy with our purchase. I would definitely buy another car from this dealership which is the highest compliment/recommendation I could give anyone! More

I like the staff and their professionalism. I am concerned that un-needed repairs were suggested. The cost of the repair if needed would have been completed. But repairing something that is not ne concerned that un-needed repairs were suggested. The cost of the repair if needed would have been completed. But repairing something that is not needed to a poss cost of $1200 or more is wasteful. Last visit on 2004 A6 for blinker issue which was taken right in and corrected without an issue. However when talking to the service tech he explained that the front boot was leaking grease and was on the right side of my car. Along with this I had bad upper control arms. This I found real interesting since I had my axle, boots and control arms replace less than 2 months ago((not by Audi). At this point I nicely explained I will have it done the next visit. I took it back to the certified mechanic that did the work and explained what I was told by Audi. He smiled put my car on the lift and actually showed me the boot and the control arms and that they were not and did not need to be replaced. He further explained that the grease was not from the boot and he did not know where it came from at this point. He reinspected the boots and allowed me check the boots and together the inspection resulted in no issues with either of the recommended repairs. The mechanic also said that when he did the work he also removed any grease that was left from the original bad boot at the time he replaced it. So bottom line make sure the repairs are needed. sometimes it is better to have someone else check to confirm. More

I was recently in Cape Cod National Seashore and I spotted an Audi with Danbury Audi plates and spoke to the owner. We discussed our cars and both agreed we loved them. More
