Second Car This is my second purchase from AutoMax. I would have to say that although the first purchase when pretty smoothly, this purchase when even smoother! This is my second purchase from AutoMax. I would have to say that although the first purchase when pretty smoothly, this purchase when even smoother! First purchase was about 5 years ago. The staff was knowledgeable and not at all pushy. They have a ton of cars and trucks on the lot which makes AutoMax even more convenient. I was looking for a very specific truck and had spent the last two days driving as far as Tampa to find what I was looking for. I had no luck and decide to give AutoMax a try. They had exactly what I was looking for at a price I was comfortable with. Jesse was knowledgeable and patient (I can be a bit of a tough customer because of past experiences that were less than optimal at OTHER dealers in the past). We agreed on a price and Jesse turned me over to Joe in finance. Joe knows the finance end of the business to say the least. He did the necessary 8 zillion forms in no time at all. I will be back to buy my next vehicle in the future. Recommended! More

Disappointing Very disappointed in this experience. My daughter, buying her first car, went in this past Saturday afternoon. Bought a car paying the full listed price on the website. As I said first car buyer. (just fyi: when I called anonymously on the car they said there could be some room for negotiation). Then she traded her car -- getting $5500 for it (she would have EASILY gotten $8900 if selling it herself, probably even more). 36 hours after the deal was made, when I found out the details of the deal, I called the dealership to see if we could get the car back and just put the $5500 down in cash. "Absolutely not" was their answer. To them, bottom line is, contract was signed, there's no going back. So disappointing. Yes, I realize she signed a contract. Yes, I realize they're a business. Yes, I realize she made some poor decisions. But, this is a young girl just starting out. There has to be some place for humanity here. Well, there should be. But there's not with this dealership. More
