Ryan has been my Service "guy" since I bought my Mercedes 3 years ago. Whenever I need help, he's my "go to" guy. He is efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. This minor service call represents the second consecutive time where I left there dissapponted after dropping off my car. In both situations, I attempted to wait for the car, but service representatives sug time where I left there dissapponted after dropping off my car. In both situations, I attempted to wait for the car, but service representatives suggested it best I take a rental as "it might take 3-4 days" for the car to be diagnosed and repaired. I don't understand the logic of making a reservation to drop off the car. I understand that Autohaus is busy. That's great for your business, but you can't say your busier than your customers. There is logic behind the day I make a reservation. I travel extensively, and am trying to fit maintenance between travels. I don't have the luxury of returning the rental "whenever you decide to look at the car and perform the work." Silly for you to even assume that as you have a $50,000 asset sitting in my driveway that could serve your other customers. This is the second consecutive time I scheduled basic work only for the work to be performed a different day than the "drop off reservation." Very silly, very uncustomer centric. Not sure why I even bother. In retrospect the work was completed in both cases at a reasonable price, but the angst of not knowing how much and when the work will be completed is my "take away." More
