ASK for Terry Repovsch skip the rest first, we have purchased 7 vehicles from this dealer- one price on person- they take the average of all the ( same type) vehicles and stick that price first, we have purchased 7 vehicles from this dealer- one price on person- they take the average of all the ( same type) vehicles and stick that price on all of them, no surprises, or so we thought... about 6 months ago we find ourselves at the lot- looking for our usual salesman, he was no longer working there- so we get this other guy- we pick out a car- we know we have equity in the car we are trading in- we make small talk, the deal comes, now we thought our loyalty would buy us some grace- they pile on this BS "deal" we explain to the salesman, we purchased several new vehicles and we come here because we get treated like humans. well, here comes the sales manager Rob, we know him, he knows us. he gives this line about how he knows we are loyal customers yadda yadda, the deal is the deal. so we break thru the BS and leave- well, i still get my vehicles serviced there, so today we take a look at the 2015 RAV 4- we decided to buy- its perfect - we get Terry- he's been there for 10 years and ive never seen him !?! - excellent customer service- answered all our questions, got us a deal we couldn't turn down- wife couldn't be happier- happy wife, happy life right? well, if you go to this dealer, demand to speak with Terry !! very happy More
New found respect for a car dealership that has a heart I had no intentions on buying a Toyota. I had already made up my mind to get my 3rd Ford in 23 years...the Escape. I knew I need to Lease and I had I had no intentions on buying a Toyota. I had already made up my mind to get my 3rd Ford in 23 years...the Escape. I knew I need to Lease and I had a budget in mind. I was on the I-10 when "something" made me get off the freeway at this AWESOME dealership just to look at a RAV4 for comparison. Got in the lot and gave my usual nice but firm disclaimer. "I'm JUST looking and NOT buying TODAY! I wasn't planning to get a new car until September (needed time to save up more for the downpayment). Then I was honored with the presence of Scott McEwen who introduced me to a totally foreign concept for most car buyers, the "One person, One Price" motto. They have a leasing program unlike any other dealership, which was the selling ing for me to do business with them. After test drving the RAV, we entered the showroom to talk numbers, when this b e a u t i f u l showroom Camry LE won my heart. Scott and I sat down to talk number and I was able to compare the priceing to purchase or lease on the 2 cars. I saw every number he put in and took out. He never had to go "behind the curtian to see the the wizard of $$ " or left me wondering if he had gone to lunch, keeping you waiting and wondering "what's taking so long" ( AKA the breaking you down tactic) that I had experience in prior purchases. Soctt warned me their dealership would be totally unlike how traditional dealerships operate and it WAS!!!! I did not have to deal with another manager, I never told him my budget and he never asked ANYTHING about my current 13 year old Focus. Whatever I needed to understand, he explained simply or showed me. As a women, I never felt like I was being taken for an "easy sale" advantage. Well to say the least I did leave without a car. I had to go home and due my due dillengence on the dealership and the car and work the numbers into my budget. BUT I do go back on Memorial day and made the exchange, knowing in my hearts of hearts that I had done good! This experience saved 1/2 of the amount I thought I needed to have at signing. I was given Kelly Blue Book for my trade in AND with the rebate ( I thought rebates were only handed out when you purchase a vechicle) I only went over my budget by $10. I dare you to go Avondale Toyota for you next new or used vehicle first ...it's worth the drive to gain total assurance and a painless adventure. There are truly more benefits in dealing with Avondale Toyota beyond the initial relationship that builds from the time you walk through their doors. This truly was a blessing that was meant for me to experience...and it was a car dealership...who would have thunk it!!!! Scott will take as good care of you as if you were his family member. Like Being With Family. I am a first time buyer. I went in with a mentality, "what could i possibly qualify for," expected the least for me to even walk out with my own pair I am a first time buyer. Not only was she helpful and informative in every which way, but a bilingual service at that, which made me feel like family. Felt i was being taken care of and everything possible was going to be tried to allow me to walk out with my very own car. Everything went well from paperwork to trying out my ride and making sure it was something for me. Very smooth process. Not very time consuming, which we can all agree that's what we all dread about going to car dealerships. I would recommend Avondale Toyota and Ms Maribel Johnson to anyone! I've owned many cars and have always hated the experience of spending countless hours of going back and forth with finance or have a shady salesmen, which totally takes the enjoyment of owning a vehicle. My sales guy; Kimi Stewert (Stew) was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about every vehicle I looked at, he didn't try to sell me a vehicle that was out of my price range, the best part there was no 'hassle' when talking about the purchase price. He was upfront, fair and tried to give me the best deal that he could offer. When it came down to doing the paperwork, the process was painless. I didn't have to wait for the fiance department. Stew did everything right there from his desk, the whole process took about 3 hours (that's including me test driving the cars). By the time I finished the paperwork, he had my car polished and clean with a full tank of gas waiting for me. Rather than just shaking my hand and handing me the keys. He spent time helping me setup my blue tooth, walked me through the awesome features that my car had to offer (I purchased a 2015 Camry) and even made sure that I had his contact information programed in my phone just in case I had questions later on. Overall, I would highly recommend Avondale Toyota Scion and will definitely continue to go back to them with my next car purchase. As far as my sales guy, I wish there were more like him out there. I wish all car dealerships were run this way. Car ownership, for me, is more or less a "necessary evil." I gotta have a car to get around, but I am not a fan of going through the process of buying Car ownership, for me, is more or less a "necessary evil." I gotta have a car to get around, but I am not a fan of going through the process of buying one, and I loathe the maintenance aspect of car ownership. That is why I am eternally grateful that Avondale Toyota exists. Not only is it in my hometown, just 10 minutes away, but it is a Toyota dealership and I'm a loyal Toyota guy. I feel very lucky. So far I have bought two cars here, sold three, serviced four, and with our most recent purchase yesterday we are on our fifth car (so far) that we will be bringing here and nowhere else. Both sales and service have always treated us right. Obviously nothing is perfect, but when we have not been happy they have done what they reasonably could be expected to do to make it right. They're fair, reasonable, and honest. Not only do I recommend this dealership, I couldn't recommend any others unless they get on board with how this dealership is run. The "old way" is for the birds. I really don't understand why this is not considered THE model for car dealerships nationwide. More

The Highlanders seem to sell as quickly as they arrive at the dealers, so when we were finally ready to purchase, Terry Pickle was able to get the perfect model from another dealer for us. This is our second Toyota purchased from Avondale Toyota because we love the one price, no hassle experience. We also love the fact that Avondale Toyota doesn't put extra add-ons on their vehicles, and doesn't tack on extra charges for "in-demand" vehicles. Our experience with Terry Pickle and Avondale Toyota was very pleasant, fun, and was done quickly! We will definitely recommend Terry Pickle and Avondale Toyota to our family and friends! When my Prius hybrid battery died and the replacement was going to be very expensive I decided to buy a new car. I had driven my Prius for 10 years. The salesman I worked with was wonderful! The buying experience was very easy. Having to deal with only one person for the purchase of my new Toyota made buying a new car very easy. I have not purchased a new car in 10 years and I found this buying experience to be one of the best. My salesman was very courteous, thorough and did not pressure me into buying any car. He showed me several cars and I test drove the car I felt was best for me. He worked up the prices for me to compare and helped me make the right decision on the purchase of my new 2015 RAV and I was able to drive it home the very day I looked and purchased the car. I will continue to use this dealership and will recommend the dealership and the salesman to others. Great place to do business! More
Easy, Open, Straightforward - Repeat Customer I bought my first vehicle from this dealership in October 2005, a 2006 4Runner that I'm still driving and totally satisfied with. We stayed in touch for a few years after the sale but she finally had to leave due to some family issues. To my delight, when we were looking for a new Toyota, we met Johnny Lopez. We had shopped around a little bit and my husband was feeling discouraged with other dealership antics and tired of looking. I convinced him to go one more place (it's a distance from where we now live) out to Avondale Toyota because I told him 'they're different' ! We ran by after church on Sunday, and a few short hours later, drove home in our new Toyota. Now, we're a 2 Toyota family. My husband was nothing short of stunned at how accommodating, friendly, and non-gimmicky the process was. Johnny was respectful, informed, empowered, and was our start to finish person. We won't go anyplace else to purchase a vehicle. We may shop elsewhere, but we will purchase here, and with Johnny. We frequently refer family and friends to both Johnny and Avondale Toyota.
