I have historically been really happy with the service and dealership. At the end of October, I brought my car in for its yearly service, It took a week to service my car with an oil change and spark and dealership. At the end of October, I brought my car in for its yearly service, It took a week to service my car with an oil change and spark plug updates. I left and was told my car was in great shape and that I didn't need new tires for a while. Shortly after I left the coolant light flashed and then eventually my service engine soon light popped on. I brought the car back in and I was told there was a problem with the water pump failing and the coolant hoses were leaking. On top of this, I was told the battery would need to be replaced along with my tires. I haven't even driven 1500 miles since the servicing. Additionally when I picked up the car, there was a whole new service light that came on and I was told it was related to another issue. I had to pay an additional $450 to inspect my car with the service engine soon light when I can't help but wonder why it wasnt caught with my servicing. Were they too busy to really do their due diligence when I brought my car in for service? I mean, they had my car for a week! Additionally, I had an extended warranty that was valid when I brought my car in for its yearly service. After being told I would have to pay for 5k to fix my car, I came back to see about trading it in. I ended up walking out and going elsewhere. I was shown one used car that smelled, was told there was no 2022 inventory and never shown an option for a 2023. Additionally, I was told my car had "all of these problems" which is completely the opposite of what I was told when I brought it in for service. I have had both an X3 and X1 that I have bought and serviced with BMW. I had a service advisor who was awesome to work with. My new advisor was incredibly friendly and answered all my questions about the service. More
