Maria, I'm truly sorry that you did not have a good experience at our dealership. Our goal is to assist every client to the best of our ability in a courteous and efficient manner. Like many business, sometimes there are more clients than their are helping hands. Although we were fully staffed, this was the situation on Sunday – the last day of the month, typically a very busy day at a dealership. Although we regret that you had to wait 10 minutes before receiving assistance from Kamal, please understand we must attend to all of our clients in a timely fashion. Because it does get very busy on the weekends and transactions do take a little longer, we offered you lunch while you were in the showroom. The specific black w/black interior 2014 BMW X3 2.8 you were interested in was not available. Kamal offered to show you the closest similar vehicle that was black w/beige interior. This was one of several vehicles that had just arrived over the weekend and although the state inspections were completed, the full preparation, cleaning and new car plastic seat covers had not yet been removed. On occasion these BMWs are actually sold as they're coming off the transport carrier. Unfortunately, as it sometimes happens, another client had looked at the same vehicle with another salesperson prior to your arrival. Kamal had no way of knowing that the other client had already agreed to the purchase. At this point there were only two options available to offer you. We could order you a 2014 BMW X3 in the exact colors and options you would like or show you another vehicle that was in stock and available. Since you were not interested in ordering a vehicle, the only other immediately available BMW X3s did have more optional equipment on them. This was not a “bait & switch” as you referenced. It is hurtful when words, phrases or TLAs are used inappropriately and out of context. Although I regret that we were not able to earn your business, I am happy you found a vehicle that you liked at our Audi store and I hope it provides you many years of happiness.
