Communication. Just because your a manger doesn’t give u the right to be cocky with customers. When you tell me that I don’t need to sale cars my business is booming. My 2017 X5 broke down on I-95 and was towed to your dealership on March 1st. We live in NC so communication was key for us. It started out okay until there was a problem. We went a week with no update and no return calls. When my husband finally got our service contact Joel on the phone he was very rude and condescending. My husband made the calls himself to BMW roadside to resolve the “waiting for approval” that Joel was unable to make happen. We got the call the 17th that my car was ready. Came in this evening to pick it up and when I got in to leave I was horrified to find my buff leather seats, console, door handles and head rests with grease all over them. I pointed it out to my husband who went to get Joel to look at it. Joel acted shocked that we were upset and claimed it must have been the tow truck driver because that’s how it came in. He begrudgingly offered to clean it himself and that’s not what we were asking for but were trying to inquire why, regardless, would you let something leave your service like this? He then cursed at us and walked away. When my husband tried to follow him he told him not to follow him back in the building or he would be arrested! I’m so disappointed in the service we received at your dealership. In my 50 years I have NEVER been cussed at by an employee of a business. More
My husband & I leased a 2020 BMW X3 and our salesman, Ash was great! He made our first lease pretty easy and answered my million questions. FIVE STAR OF FLORENCE is my absolute go to for all vehicle purchases. DAQUAN CHAMBERLAIN, was AWESOME!!! He did wonderful at getting my newly AIRFORCE graduate a BMW so he would be off to a great star vehicle purchases. DAQUAN CHAMBERLAIN, was AWESOME!!! Went above and beyond. Of course, traveling a long distance and realizing you have a mechanical failure is not the best and jovial time to have. In the mist of my problems, Mr. Travis was able to get me in and have my car inspected and give me the results of my diagnosis quickly. No one wants to hear they have to leave there vehicle especially during a holiday weekend because it is not repairable but Mr. Joel did not stop until he found me a way to get my rental which was several towns over because all of the rental cars in the area were sold out. However, the All-Star of this dynamic trio has to be Mr. Brody. He would not leave my side until it was confirmed I had keys in my hand. He also led me back to the dealership to ensure I knew the way. Even though, this event is still ongoing and a bit traumatic; I do not know how I would've made it to see my mom who is sick in Charleston, South Carolina without the help of these three phenomenal gentlemen. Lastly, let's not forget Miss Rachel, who did not have to listen to my sobs as I cried about how I was going to pay for the repairs or to see my mom. Additionally, even though I didn't get your name, I don't want to forget the shuttle driver whom offered to help me find a rental car. I have had many cars in my lifetime and I'm sure the amount of maintenance on them will never change but my experience at this dealership has been a truly genuine, compassionate, heart felt experience. If you have an issue they could care and that starts from the top. I had an issue an expressed it to the GM and his attitude was clear that he could care less. I drove an hour and twenty minutes to see a vehicle (after a confirmation email from their employee earlier in the day). I noticed prior to leaving home the vehicle was no longer on their website. I arrive at the location and with a huge grin from the salesman I got a “it’s already sold”. After him being unable to find a 5 series they have at the same price I left and contacted the GM. He basically stated...yeah it happens. They apparently hustle to get the vehicles off their website but don’t share the same respect to contact customers they having driving up to see the vehicle. Not only is it deplorable customer service it’s lack of respect to another person. Take the drive to Myrtle beach where they show their customers respect. More
Excessive charges for small tasks, Florence, SC BMW I would like to complain about my experience at BMW of Florence, SC. I needed a tail light bulb changed. The bulb cost is $5. They wanted to charge me I would like to complain about my experience at BMW of Florence, SC. I needed a tail light bulb changed. The bulb cost is $5. They wanted to charge me $80 labor to change the lightbulb. There were no diagnostics being performed. Just $75 to change a light bulb for the rear tail light. Even though it takes 5 minutes or less to pop in a new bulb, BMW insisted charging 30 minutes labor. Just to be clear, I own 2 BMW's and have owned BMW's for over 20 years. I have replaced many bulbs (not at Florence BMW) over this time. Typical cost is $5 to $10 and have been told on occasion that there is no charge. There is a reason that secondary BMW service shops are flourishing. I will be taking my BMW to them because I want to be treated fairly. I am all in favor of BMW making a fair profit. Charging me 30 minutes labor for popping in a new tail light bulb (5 minutes or less) is not treating your customers fairly. More

Worst Experience EVER! I bought a brand new 2012 BMW 535i from this dealership. I left it overnight with them for service. The service people left my keys out and did not lo I bought a brand new 2012 BMW 535i from this dealership. I left it overnight with them for service. The service people left my keys out and did not lock them up for the night. Someone broke in and saw my keys and found my car. It was stolen and not found for a few days. When it was found, it was damaged. One of the managers told me they would give me $5000 to make things right. A week later their corporate attorney sent me a letter stating they were not responsible and would not pay me anything. They never even fixed all of my car damage. More
