Bad experience. I made an appointment for just an oil change and it cost me over $840. Such a scam. I made the appointment but my foriegn wife brought in the car and the service department took advantag change and it cost me over $840. Such a scam. I made the appointment but my foriegn wife brought in the car and the service department took advantage by upselling so much extra stuff without verifying the need for a micro filter, new $25 spark plugs, and induction service. Obviously she doesn't speak and understand english well enough to know why either. She thought the service people were telling her that the car was going to break down if she didn't get the extra services done right now today. She was crying all day for getting scammed again by BMW of Sarasota. This type treatment is uncalled for by the service department. I am unhappy. BMW of Sarasota should be ashamed for scamming a foreign speaking women into more unnecessary services. Someone from BMW of Sarasota better be calling me about this quick. Look forward to my follow up. More
