New microfilter installed. When starting cold, a soapy perfumy smell comes through ac vents on a cold start. The smell leaves after about a minute but always returns on a cold start. Brought the car back and they replaced the microfilter but the smell is still there. Very disappointed. Seems like a technician added a scented air freshener working through the ac vent. This was my first experience with Sarasota BMW. Lucy, my advisor, was excellent. Communicated with me throughout the process. John was especially helpful- I arrived to pick up my car, but the service depa advisor, was excellent. Communicated with me throughout the process. He had to walk the lot (with a cast boot on!) to find my car. He definitely went above and beyond! More

Very personable staff. Had appt. for 10am and was on time but did start until 11am then took 3-hrs for simple Svc. A lot to hand holding thru whole thing. Have to meet with an Advisor ( hour after I got ther but did start until 11am then took 3-hrs for simple Svc. A lot to hand holding thru whole thing. Have to meet with an Advisor ( hour after I got there) to discuss the warranty std service I requested…. advisor then tells me what is going to be done and they’ll be getting to work on it shortly… and that new vehicles are maint free of cost. Seems like a lot of people engaged in process but think your costs are going to be higher when you have someone just to come over when you bring your car in To say hi and point to the front desk 20’ away. Perhaps I give public to much credit and I’m sure this give the feel of blue ribbon service and means a lot to some. As it was I was three hours to get a service which took no more than an 1.5 hr. Including time for car to cool to change oil… and they skipped the wash to get me out quick. Every person I met was as always at Sara BMW very professional. More
