Past experiences with BMW Service have been fine. However, this last experience has been less than satisfactory. 03.30.2020 - had appointment at 12 N. I was on my way to the dealership and at 11:30 am I received a call from Maria stating the part to fix the recall on my airbag had not come in and would have to reschedule my appointment. Maria stated that BMW Service could come to my house and do the repair or I could schedule a time to come in to the dealership. She stated when the part arrived, she or someone at BMW would call to schedule a time. 04.02.2020 - I received an email stating I missed my appointment and to call the service department to reschedule. I sent an email stating I did not miss my appointment and explained the call from Maria and would await a call to reschedule. 04.03.2020 - I spoke with someone and BMW Service, not Maria, and scheduled my appointment for April 7 at 11:00 AM 04.07.2020 - I arrived at BMW Service yesterday, April 7, at 10:30 AM, which was about 30 minutes early for my appointment. The gentleman checking me in told me to go inside and wait and Maria would be with me shortly. I waited for quite a while. I was on the phone I walked around the show room and waited for someone to come and speak with me. After about an hour or more I went back outside to talk To someone. The gentleman told me that Scott Gould would come to speak with me as Maria had an emergency and had to leave. Thankfully, Scott came right away and said they would take the car right in. This was 12:30 pm! The repair was done at 1:30. Usually, with any service, the car is washed - which was not done yesterday. Needless to say, this omission was the icing on the cake!! All in all it was a very unsatisfactory experience, except for Scott - who did his best to make things right. Three hours for this service is excessive! More
The dealership is amazing. Everyone treats you so well. I was even picked up from an hour away and driven to pick up my new car. Susan took great care of me and then Daniel took over. Their automated systems and hand off process worked flawlessly. I was very impressed with the changes made in welcoming customers at the service entry and the hands off process of their checkout. Got most of the work done correctly. I had to reinstall a trim piece myself due to the trunk latch hitting it. Not a huge deal, took me 10 minutes to figure it out. They did an alignment and I think the steering wheel is off a few degrees. Car tracks straight though. My advisor, Tiffany, has been wonderful. She stayed in contact even when she was away from the office. More
