The dealership is very organized - you make an appointment and they take you on time. The first thing the tech does is a thorough inspection of the vehicle and sends you a video clip of it. Brought my car in for an issue that was supposed to be resolved through this dealership. Car was brought in for a faulty ac, they never fixed it. All of this was supposed to be through insurance. Brought resolved through this dealership. Car was brought in for a faulty ac, they never fixed it. All of this was supposed to be through insurance. Brought the car back in to address this for them to tell me it was an unrelated issue. Even though the initial issue never went away and it was the exact same issue. So they tell me they won't work on the car under warranty of the "work" they supposedly did. They finally figured out the cause after 5 diagnosis. 5! And all it was, was a faulty ac control panel. Mind you I'm very familiar with my car as this is the second f10 I've had, and I know the market for the parts. To buy a mint used ac control panel costs 60 bucks. So I'm sure a band new one is roughly 400 bucks, but I don't know as the part number I requested was never given to me. So to fix the problem with a brand new ac control panel, your stealership wanted $3500! For a 60 dollar part and 2 hours worth of labor!? That's insane. So after denying this outrageous cost that's insulting to even ask for. I get my car back and I'm missing buttons on my ac control panel. How is it even possible for a tech to disassemble a piece of equipment, damage that equipment, and then not even think to replace/fix what was damaged. I mean really? Is this normal business practice? I have already bought a brand new 530i in the last year from this dealership and was planning on getting a 540i soon, however that is no longer the case, atleast it won't be through you. A 400$ ac control panel for 3500$ jus lost you any chance of a 70k future deal. Is there no foresight? Are you trained to spit in the face of the hand that feeds you? Because that's exactly what asking 3500$ for a job that takes an hour and only a 400$ component is implying. More
