I had a very disappointing experience at bmw Sarasota. Dealing with the service advisor Derek Thomas was so frustrating. He doesn’t seem to enjoy his job and is extremely hard to communicate with. He doesn’t listen, or care same difference, and he couldn’t bother to give me an update when I really needed it at the end of the day so I would know if I needed to drive 20 miles out of my way to get my car or not. I spoke with other staff about my frustration and could infer that they agree that he’s a pretty awful person to have to work with. On top of all this the car this dealer sold me is such a waste of my time and money. For the year and mileage on my car, I’ve had so many unnecessary and unexpected issues. I literally had a tech ( at a different service center much better experience) tell me it was really good that I brought the car in when I did because he could tell it would have caught fire due to an electric fault. Not what you expect on a car that I three years old under 10k miles. More
