I came in for an oil change and at this time I bought another BMW. My sale person was Tim Chestnut Jr. This is my fourth BMW I have gotten from Tim, He is a very nice person to work with and a good perso another BMW. Service advisor did not give an consistent care to each of his customers, i was treated not as well as I have been before. Also my car was not vacuumed, more like they just moved around a few items in the of his customers, i was treated not as well as I have been before. This last visit to Sarasota BMW was for a tire on our X5 that kept loosing air. I called and made an appointment with our Service Rep, Derek Thomas. They service department was really busy and I was waiti that kept loosing air. I called and made an appointment with our Service Rep, Derek Thomas. They service department was really busy and I was waiting in the lounge area for my turn. I texted Derek, told him that I was starting to get close to a doctors appointment. He had me come to his office, had me in a loaner and I was off to the Doctor. I have dealt with Derek for 2 years, he is by far the most customer focused service rep that I have dealt with. BMW is has a high total cost of ownership, but in comparison to other cars, its worth it. More

BMW when told the lane departure feature caused the accident did not take responsibility for the AI defects and during the repairs took away our loaner car. The recommended collision repair facility of accident did not take responsibility for the AI defects and during the repairs took away our loaner car. The recommended collision repair facility of Lakewood Auto Collision took 7 months to fix and deliver the vehicle (BMW X5M) back and it was still not fixed correctly. When I asked for 4 new Perrelli Tires to be replaced and the brakes fixed and the steering wheel alignment to be fixed out of my own pocket, Zach the service manager without my permission turned it back over to Lakewood Auto Collision to have State Farm run a supplement to fix the issues and I did not get my new tires. Then BMW of Sarasota still did not fix correctly the brakes. I returned it again to be repaired and they said that this time it was the bushings and the axel and it would need another $3100 supplement. They did not take responsibility again for allowing State Farm and Lakewood Auto to put bad old tires on the repaired car that could have caused the issues or they themselves caused the issues. But no, they again took zero responsibility and ran up another insurance supplement request which put the total cost of repairs over the TOTAL LOSS THRESHOLD limit and State Farm took my vehicle and they gave me no choice in the matter. I feel BMW, Lakewood Auto and State Farm stole my vehicle and covered for each other's incompetencies and nothing I could do about it. I will NEVER buy another BMW. NEVER. More
