I called and spoke with Karen Herbert who was extremely friendly and informative. I explained what i had to trade in and what i was looking for payments to be. She took this information and called me back within an hour with a deal way better than i could have anticipated. I took the 7 hour drive down to Maryland getting there just before they closed. being that it was almost closing time i expected to be rushed through the process, but to my surprise Karen was extremely friendly and patient and took the time to show me all the features of my car and didnt rush me through the financial process whatso ever. Not only was the service great but the price they quoted me over the phone was the same one they offered me. I got a really nice loaner while I waited for my service to be done(brand new), and when I got my car back it was nice and clean and they did a great job. They even worked with me on the pricing. I really appreciate that when I take my car in for service I am assigned to one advisor, Thomas Grant. Thomas is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet, and I really trust him with my car. He goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy and well informed about their service, and he is very understanding when issues come up. Like when I had to come pick up my car early because I could not get into my house without the use of the garage door opener "in my car". Silly me, I accidentally left my keys inside. I have been going here for years, since I bought my BMW, and even though there have been times when things haven't gone exactly as planned, Thomas has been great. On more than one occasion he has gone out of his way to make sure that, at the end of the day, I am happy with my service and compensated for any inconvenience, without me having to ask, and even if the mistake wasn't his. Everyone at BMW Silver Spring is big on customer service, even the managers, and it really makes me feel like a valued customer. I would recommend this dealership and their service department to anyone and I would tell them to ask for Thomas. ;) More

Superb communication, very polite, and beyond expectations I just purchased a BMW X6 custom built from Tae Yeon. As a female owner of a BMW, I'm concerned about getting ripped off when getting my car serviced. But not here. Per my service experiences, I feel confident knowing there is someone I can call who will take care of any problems that arise with my car, or regular scheduled services at times of need. Thomas goes the extra mile...I live in DC and had a flat tire when I was visiting MD over the weekend. I called Thomas and my call was answered immediately, I brought my car in, and he got right on it. Kerry provided me with a free and comparable BMW loaner for the weekend. And, after a tire replacement, and complimentary wash, Thomas personally delivered my car to my residence in DC. Absolutely exceptional service! I knew I paid fair market price for a new tire, I wasn't stuck waiting and wasting my Saturday at the service center, per one phone call my need was taken care of immediately, and my car was in safe hands. My first experience with BMW of Silver Spring was an awesome experience and about 90% of that experience was because of Lonnie Overby. So of course, when I was thinking about purchasing another BMW, it was a no brainer for me to call Mr. Overby. Just like my first experience, he was professional, courteous and attentive to my needs & wants. He treated me like family (the family we like…lol) and made my second experience just as good as my first.
