I was on the hunt for a demo-dealer driven 2011 535i xDrive. The price at Silver Spring was one of the lowest I've saw when doing my reseach. I found a car at BWM Silver Spring on BMW Certified Pre-Ow xDrive. The price at Silver Spring was one of the lowest I've saw when doing my reseach. I found a car at BWM Silver Spring on BMW Certified Pre-Owned website, inquired, and was contacted almost immediately by Lonnie (Sales). He was able to provide me with additional photos and answer my questions about the car. Unfortuntely for Lonnie and Silver Spring, I found a car to my liking a little closer to home (Milwaukee). From start to finish Manny was attentive, well-informed, obliging and he was respectful of my time. In the DC metro area we have Seven BMW dealers to choose from, some close to work, some close to home. I had been in contact with a few dealerships, was not empressed with their phone skills and their lack of information. Ultimately my sales experience with Manny made my decision to buy from BMW of Silver Spring. I got the price I wanted, so if you’re in the market for a BMW, give them a call. I'm just pleased with my experience, and did not want a good deed to go unnoticed. I had seen their trong reviews on this site, and as an aid to others, I can confirm that the service pre-sale and at the pick-up was first class, thorough and professional. The car was ready, clean and met my high) expectations. No surprises! It may seem like aleap of faith to buy a car form a remote dealer, but I was prepared to do that from any number of out-of-area dealers who had what I wanted, and then either have it shipped if close enough or pick it up, as I did in this case, relying on the strong BMW branding and knowing their dealers would have to meet or exceed BMW's high standards. I recently purchased a used non-certified BMW 3 series from a dealership in Maryland that didn’t offer certified BMW’s. That was my “BIG MISTAKE” they sold me a lemon. After diving it for 3 months and not getting any help from the dealer I purchased the car from. I became determined to get rid of this annoyance. So I call a local BMW dealer and drove it to BMW of Silver Spring to get an estimate of the needed work. It was here where I met Rick Lopez one of the sales managers. He could tell that I was aggravated and he asked to hear my story. I told Mr. Lopez “Rick” I looking to get rid of my 3 series. With that said he took me out to their lot with no pressure. He introduce me to Manny a salesman who helped me find the car that I wanted based on my needs of my family. This time it was a BMW certified. Manny took his time to show me everything on the car and took me out for a test drive. What made Rick and Manny and the dealership so exceptional was the fact that they all cared for my needs as a team. They all worked very hard find me certified 335i. Manny took his time to explain to me all the features of the vehicle and I do mean all. He was a professional gentleman who did not pressure me or make me feel “amateurish”. They were all very polite, patience, and most important HONEST down to the finance manager Joanna. She did not pressure me and answer all my questions.. I recommend anyone that is looking to purchase a new or certified BMW to go see Rick Lopez and his team at BMW of Silver Spring. They saved me from an extremely horrible experience that I had, gave me advice on how to deal with that bad dealership, all to help me get the car I wanted. If it wasn't for them I would be without a working car. They made my car purchasing experience very exciting and enjoyable. I can honestly say that I look forward to purchasing another car through BMW of Silver Spring. Not because of the price but because of his integrity, honesty, and passion. I don't normally write reviews for sales people, unless my experience has been exceptional or very bad and my experience with BMW of Silver Spring has been second to none. BMW of Silver Spring owes it to the sales manager Rick Lopez and my sale advisor Chris Allen for absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service. Since I first started looking for a 2008 535xi both Chris and Rick always went the extra mile to make sure my buying experience was an exceptional one. They have always been very pleasant and accommodating to my needs. Sometimes I neglected to reply to their emails, but they somehow convince me to come to the dealership. When I got there they kept their promises the 5 series was beautiful clean and just perfect and never any surprises. In the past I rarely bought from the same dealership twice in a row because I never found one I liked. However, BMW of Silver Spring has won my business because of my buying experience. This is due wholly to the efforts of Rick Lopez and Chris Allen. I will continue to buy BMW vehicles as long as they are working at BMW of Silver Spring.
