BMW Tenafly receptionist number 2016086701 called me less than 24 hours before appointment suggesting that I reschedule replacing my brake pads. Or to take a Uber back home. BMW Tenafly is known to never sup than 24 hours before appointment suggesting that I reschedule replacing my brake pads. Or to take a Uber back home. BMW Tenafly is known to never supplying BMW loaners no matter the cost / time of repair. Without any sense of liability, the unprofessional receptionist that does not belong to service department told me the service was not 3 or 4 hours as previously told me but more. I don’t mind waiting more time. She insisted that it was better to reschedule because I may need to change not only pads but also rotor. Basically a new rotor would make repair more expensive and I informed her that her call less than 24 hours was unprofessional. It put me at risk of driving an unsafe car, and it caused me deep anxiety that I now not only had the break pads but the rotor to pay for. Called again to complain about her and service department said that indeed it was a 3 - 4 hour repair and that manager would be speaking to her. Unacceptable. More
After seeing some of the best reviews of any BMW dealer in the area, I made Tenafly my first visit to look at a BMW 330 sedan. Normally, I scope out two or three dealerships before making a decision on a car, but I immediately felt comfortable with the staff there that it became my only stop. Ricki Shamen was the sales associate who helped me get into a lease and take care of a trade in on my previous vehicle and she is fantastic. She made the deal so easy and seamless, I was trading in my car and getting in the new 330i the very next day. The finance manager, Landon, was also phenomenal in how he thoroughly explained all the numbers, fine print and additional packages. No BS, no pressure sales and no sketchy tactics at this dealership. 100% recommend. More
