Needs to have better communications with customers. I scheduled an appointment to get my recall done. However upon arriving there was a debate of whether or not I even had an appointment, and after th I scheduled an appointment to get my recall done. However upon arriving there was a debate of whether or not I even had an appointment, and after they found the appointment they said for me to pick it up at the end of the day. Fortunately I was able to make it back to my work by getting a ride, but if I wasn't in a position to get a ride I would have been stuck at the dealer while I waited for the car. It seems strange that I had to make an appointment with the dealer at a specific time, but yet I wasn't able to actually get the work done at the appointment time. This was not expressed to me at the time of scheduling the appointment otherwise I would have made other arrangements. Upon completion of the vehicle, I did not receive a text message to the number that was delivered at the time of dropping off the car. Instead it went to my brother's cell phone who whose number was already logged in the system but not the one who dropped off the car. Upon taking the car the battery was dead because someone left the lights on. I had to get the car jumped by someone who apparently was newly working at the dealership and needed instructions of how to hook up to the battery terminals. It's understandable that someone needs to be trained but train those individuals inside your facility not on other people's cars while they're ready to go after having it serviced. Lastly of all this, I wasn't told at all that no work was actually done in the vehicle. The inspected the fail their bag or suspectedly failed airbag and determine that it was already replaced or did not need to be replaced. However this should have been told to me at the time of pickup then no work was actually done and perhaps I could have asked some questions immediately at that time. I'm still receiving recall letters, but that's not the dealerships fault by any means. Hopefully BMW can resolve these types of issues so they don't happen in the future. More

The service department had our car for almost 3 weeks. After we got the car back our drivers door was broken and the check engine light came back in 30min after driving the car. We took it back and there was more issues than when we droped it off not sure how they didn't catch the code the first time so we decided to take it to a different location witch had it fixed in just a few days correcting the mistakes overlooked and made by BMW of Westlake. 1/10 experience for us personally More
