I don’t usually write reviews but I received multiple requests for a review so this is my experience with Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge. They can do better. Went for an oil change. When I got my car back I asked if they did the multi point inspection, I was told yes and everything is good. The next day my car was leaking oil I took it back and I asked them to do the multi points inspection again. I was asked to go to the service bay. The mechanic lifted the car and explained that it’s not from the oil filter but it’s from the “oil cooling system” oil filter housing. I asked if the issue was there before the oil change and why didn’t they tell me about it. He said that he didn’t see any oil leaking on the bottom of the car when he did the oil change. I don’t know what caused the oil leak. Maybe a coincidence. This time they gave me the multi point inspection sheet. It looks like who ever did it just took a pin and checked “checked and ok” for everything. I took my car somewhere else for second inspection. The mechanic explained to me that it’s very common for the oil filter housing on my car to leak after certain mileage. I ended replacing it and also replaced My cabin filter, engine air filter, brakes, rotors got a brake fluid flush. If the Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge explained to me that it’s common for cars to have a leak after certain milage and did the multi point inspection the way it should be done, I would have told them to repair it. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and will go back again. I hope the service improves. More
