I made an appointment to have a recall airbag replacement for 7/30 at 11am. I arrived a bit before time and handed my jeep over to an attendant who drove it away. I then rode my bicycle home. 5 hours later, for 7/30 at 11am. I arrived a bit before time and handed my jeep over to an attendant who drove it away. I then rode my bicycle home. 5 hours later, at about 4pm I called to check on the status of the job and was told that they didn’t have my car. After some searching and some freaking out I was told that they had my jeep but it was never checked in. I was told that I had to go inside and check in my vehicle when I dropped it off and was blamed for not doing so even though I was never told by the attendant who took my jeep. They checked me in over the phone and I waited some more. I called at least twice to check on the progress, I was told it was a 2 hour job maximum, and could not get past the receptionist to speak to my “advisor”. Later at 9pm I had had enough. My jeep had been there for 10 hours! I was then called by Brandon, who was my advisor who told me he couldn’t do the job until the following day. I said this was not acceptable as I was driving down to DC the next day for my best friend’s funeral. He then said I had to come pick up the car then and that if I didn’t get there by 10pm they would close and my jeep would not be available to me. After a frantic bike ride to the center, I was told by Brandon to hold on and that the mechanic was doing the job and that it should be done shortly. I did get me jeep but there was a ball dropped somewhere along the way. I was made to feel like I was at fault when I clearly wasn’t. More
