Due to the great service in 2008, I came back this February to purchase a brand new 2012 GTI. This time, Evelyn was unavailable so Jack Depalo assisted me with my needs. He was extremely pleasant, he understood my budget needs and worked with me to make sure I was at a comfortable monthly payment without having to compromise the features I wanted in my car. Despite being there on a busy Saturday, Jack did a great job at not making me feel rushed. When I was ready to pick up the car and finalize the deal, I met Angelo Alexiades(Finance Manager), he also excelled my expectations. He went over the entire contract very thoroughly. The car was ready by the time I arrived, however, I noticed a small scratch on one of the wheels so Angelo asked to have it switched immediately. It was overall a great experience. The only manner in which people should be treated when making such an important purchase. When I purchase a car, I expect great service, I expect for the seller to want my business, and Bayside Volkswagen continues to exceed my car buying experience expectations. More

Upon reflection- given the economy, the New York Shtick, the other unsavory dealerships not to mention my deluge of enquiries, this team on balance did a fine job! As this is my first vehicle in a sports car class, I must give special kudos to Angelo for his patience and insights on low profile wheel dimensions and aerodynamics. The staff was very polite (and very, very nice) and they treated us like we were their ONLY customers of the day. We were given a GREAT deal (we came in on President's Day...) and they were certainly far more accommodating than they needed to be. Our salesperson (John) was 'straight' with us about the features that were worth spending the money on (based on our needs), and which would be a waste of our time. I really appreciated that, and from the beginning, they did not treat us as if our ONLY purpose to them was make a sale. John treated us as if we were 'old friends', and he were 'helping us out' with taking care of something very important. More
