Honestly, in past I would have definitely recommended but last visits have me rethinking this. This trip.. forgot I needed to be picked up when car was ready.. so at 605pm...told no one available to pick me up until morning. In morning no pick up at set time, so called them...they will send someone immediately. Then car paperwork and keys were lost... luckily the wonderful woman who picked me up really put energy into looking for them. So unimpressed! Know it has changed hands so hopefully will get better soon. More
I purchased a used vehicle from Rich Hartman's Bellingham Ford Lincoln in September 2021. I also purchased a service agrement with stipulations for specific future service commitments. I was excited to see a coupon mailed to me for "The Works: Synthetic Blend Oil Change and More" for $69.95 with an attached coupon for $10 off. I checked my vehicle in on 1/31/22 @ 9am. I am retired and on a fixed budget and was anticipating getting out of there in under $75. I indicated I was "waiting" in the customer waiting area. I was surprised to see my eventual bill for $225.85. Although the special states it includes up to 6 quarts of oil, I was double charged for 7 quarts of oil, (invoice number FOCS388189) although I was told the maximum capacity of my vehcile is 4.9 gallons of oil. The 7 quarts totaled $154.70 ( $22.10 per quart). I spoke with Sabrina Garza and she understood my concern. Although my invoice states that "Customer hereby acknoweldges receiving original estimate of $260 (+ tax) which did NOT occur at all. I am well aware that I need to follow the commitments of the service agreement, but am really disapointed by the overcharge(s), and hope that I can be reimbursed. Jose Loya More

Very unimpressive experience. Mark Collins was the internet sales person. While attempting to order the truck, Mark rarely returned calls or VMs so I went into the dealership several times to communic internet sales person. While attempting to order the truck, Mark rarely returned calls or VMs so I went into the dealership several times to communicate with him. When it came time to order the truck, Mark reported they were unable because "the only person in the dealership who knows how to do that is off for a few days". Mark became annoyed when asked what would happen if that person became ill or quit. After several days I called back, as Mark did not call me as agreed. When the truck arrived his "delivery" was pathetic. He explained he doesn't like to "overwhelm" his customers, so he basically connected my phone to the Sync system and showed me the glovebox button. Amazingly, he did not know the rear side windows in a Super Cab went down. He did not know how to fold the larger portion of the rear bench seat down. He had no idea which fuel is recommended and did not know the recommended maintenance intervals. I have spent several days watching videos (mostly from other dealerships who apparently care) trying to figure out how all the features work, where the buttons are, etc. Turns out Ford has a great Youtube channel and the Ford Pass app has lots of good videos too - which would’ve been great for him to tell me if he isn’t going to bother. The condition of the vehicle at pick up was also poor. I walked around it, wiping smudges off to ensure they weren't defects or damage and noticing the standing water in the bed under the tonneau. The windshield was dirty on the inside, with streaks from a poor job. I found a random, bare metal key rattling around in the door storage. Mark did not say a word about it. Then, the financing person had no idea what was going on. She printed the paperwork twice because I pointed out the date on the papers was 5 days prior. A few days later she called to tell me that the term, payment due date and interest rate are all incorrect on the contract. Her VM said not to worry as "Ford can fix all that". My dealings with the service department (for a warranty issue) were slightly better. I left multiple VMs after never getting anyone to answer the phone for over two weeks. So I had to go to the service desk in person (apparently a theme) to get help. Samantha was very pleasant and made me an appointment after explaining most of them recently had COVID. This was certainly not a surprise to me, as the masking adherence by staff was really poor every time I was there for the sales part. Unfortunately when I arrived for the appointment, they had no record of it. To her credit, Samantha hesitated for only half of a second, then commented they have “had some scheduling problems” and took my keys, assuring me they would get the truck fixed. Sabrina, the service advisor, was pleasant and trying very hard in an atmosphere of total chaos. They are so obviously understaffed it is ridiculous. As best I could tell she is THE advisor. I had to stand in front of her so she could finish my paperwork as she was constantly interrupted by calls, techs, office staff, walk-ins, etc. A truly, truly unimpressive experience. Everyone was pleasant and all but what a fiasco. This dealership is obviously fundamentally broken from the top down. I now understand why many, many people in here drive 30+ miles to buy from other dealers. I know I won't be back by choice. I will pay for the maintenance to be done elsewhere. (Bellingham Automotive) Why would anyone think a dealership run that poorly should be trusted for maintenance - or anything else? More
