Mr. Khaitov, I am sorry to hear about your experience at Bennett Chevrolet. We try our best not to appraise any vehicles over the phone because of exactly this situation. We use KBB Instant Cash Offer to appraise all of our vehicles. We use this service because of #1, they are almost always the highest value to the customer, and best of all they guarantee the amount no matter what we think the car is worth. Just as you are stating now, you stated that your vehicle is in PERFECT condition so KBB gave a much higher value. When you actually brought in the vehicle, it had scratches and 2 wheels that had previous repairs and were less than perfect and in need of additional repair. Although the scratches were not that long, they were though the paint requiring a body shop and now you have a vehicle that is repainted. Original factory paint is considered to be the best and once it has been painted, all kinds of questions arise as to why and if it was in an accident. For those reasons, KBB hits the value hard because it is no longer a perfect vehicle. Replacing two rims causes additional penalties with KBB. We have to be honest with KBB because they will bill us for anything we miss. As far as the interest rates, we have 21 banks with rates starting below 2%. We are not a bank and until we can agree on pricing and submit to the banks, we will not know your rate. We do not require anyone to finance with our banks but we do pass along a $500 ALLY incentive if you were to decide to. Sorry, we were not able to earn your business. Best of luck in your search. With all due respect Cecil, now you are just making things up. First, the KBB price that you sent me was not based on the Excellent condition but Good condition. Excellent condition pricing would have been about $2000 more than you quoted me. Second, the scratch that you mentioned is superficial and not through the paint, and has already been fixed and buffed out. Again this shows your lack of throothful response. And lastly, the wheels in question have never been repaired. One had a minor discoloration, and second one had a minor curb rash less than 2 inches. Again, to anyone who has a trade in please be aware of these potential issues with this dealership, and go elsewhere.

Lenny, Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. We had stated multiple times before you made the trip down that we did not feel comfortable giving you a value for your vehicle over the phone. We always like to see the vehicles upfront so that we can maximize the value. You expect to see my vehicle and verify condition before you purchase it, and we like to do the same. We use Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash offer because they are willing to write a check for that amount, assuming that ALL of the information is correct. The repairs that are needed on the vehicle are more than you are giving them credit for and that remains the reason for the difference. Once again we are very sorry and if you would like to sell your trade on your own, we would be happy to honor our pricing on the vehicle. You can also contact Kelley Blue Book and with verifiable information they would be happy to write you a check.
