I have had the pleasure of working with Berger Chevrolet Sales Consultant, Marvin Washington twice in the last seven months and on both occasions he was polite, personable and provided excellent customer se Sales Consultant, Marvin Washington twice in the last seven months and on both occasions he was polite, personable and provided excellent customer service. The first time I worked with Marvin was back in February 2012, when I leased a 2012 Chevy Silverado in my name for my brother. My brother had a good job making a decent income at the time so I knew he would be able to make the monthly payments, but nonetheless, I was still apprehensive about leasing a truck for him in my name for obvious reasons. However, some of those concerns were put to ease because Marvin thoroughly explained all of our different leasing options and was able to get the monthly payments within our price range. He was proactive, but not to the point where I felt pressured into making an immediate decision. He also explained everything in detail and was able to answer all questions to my satisfaction. A few days after leasing the truck, Marvin took the time to follow up with me to see if I had any additional questions or concerns. The second time I worked with Marvin was back in August 2012, when I needed to find out what my options were as far as getting out of the lease agreement on the 2012 Chevy Silverado. I stopped by the dealership one afternoon and Marvin took the time to meet with me to discuss the situation I was in regarding the truck I had leased in my name for my brother a few months prior. There were some unforeseen circumstances that prevented my brother from being able to continue to make the monthly payments on the Silverado and I could not afford the payments myself as I was making monthly payments on a 2009 Cobalt I had purchased a couple of years back. Marvin explained a couple of different options I had for getting out of my lease agreement and at the end of our conversation he let me know that if I had any other questions or if there was anything I needed, I could contact him anytime. Over the next couple of weeks, I had several questions regarding my lease agreement and every time I stopped by the dealership (which was quite a few times), Marvin made himself available to sit down with me and answer my questions. I finally decided to trade in both the 2012 Chevy Silverado and 2009 Cobalt for a new car and roll over the negative equity from both as this was the only option that would not destroy my credit. So once again, I was back at the dealership to see Marvin about trading in both the truck and car that were in my name for a new vehicle, and he assured me that he would do everything he could to make it work so I could get out of the lease agreement on the Silverado without ruining my credit and into a new car that I could afford, which is exactly what he did. Thanks to Marvin, I was able to terminate my lease agreement while keeping my credit intact and purchase a 2009 Malibu with monthly payments that were within my budget. Marvin was very patient with me throughout the entire process and I was completely satisfied with the level of customer service I received. Marvin Washington is the best Sales Consultant I have ever worked with as he definitely goes above and beyond expectations. More

Customer Service - I was welcomed with prompt, courteous service from the moment i stepped in the door. I was early, and my sales consultant was not at his desk when i arrived, but he was paged, and showed service from the moment i stepped in the door. Quality of Work - Everything that was necessary to bring my sales transaction to a successful conclusion was handled with good organization. The pauses between segments were filled with friendly & meaningful conversation about the deal we were pursuing, providing me with assistance and direction when needed. Nothing was done out of order, had to be repeated, or was unproductive. i felt like everything we did had a purpose, and it was done in a logical sequence. When other team members were called upon to play their role, they did so with alacrity and proficiency. i found each person involved to be knowledgeable and personable. Friendliness - to me, friendliness coincides with knowledge and experience. if someone is friendly but inefficient, then, well, being "friendly" just doesn't carry the day. Each of the three persons involved (Jeff Draft as the sales consultant, Jeremy Rhoton as the sales manager, and Jeff Mariner as the business manager) treated me with respect and seemed focused on making sure i understood each step of the process, addressed any questions i had, and though everyone was busy multi-tasking, i never felt rushed or insignificant, nor was i made to wait beyond what was reasonable. Overall Service - I spent most of the time with Jeff Draft, my sales consultant. i couldn't have asked for a better partner in the process. Some people are nice because it's part of their job requirement -- and you can tell it just doesn't come natural to them. Jeff, on the other hand, was perfect, in doing what i asked, providing what i needed, and initiating those things i needed but didn't know i needed. i never felt like i was being "pitched", but more like, "we have something that would be helpful to you, and i think you'll like what i'm about to suggest." turns out, he was right, and i'm glad he called. Price - well, you do the math: i got more car than i figured i could get, for a better price than i would have thought, and for a lower interest rate than i believed i'd qualify for. i have no problem recommending people go to berger for their transportation needs ... especially if they are fortunate enough to work with jeff draft, jeremy rhoton and jeff mariner. thanks, berger.
