We had our 4Runner rear door latch replaced in January. It still does not work. We were told when we scheduled the repair that it was under warranty and would be fixed. When I made the appointment I told them it is an intermittent problem, which is very serious because it is not possible to get the spare tire out if the latch does not work. They said they would replace the latch again. We took the 4Runner in today. When we left it at the shop the technician saw that the latch did not work. They did nothing to fix it. They said it worked later that day so they saw no need to fix it. When we got home the latch did not work. The service person we spoke to was very disrespectful to us when we explained the problem. He said it worked at the shop. I told him that I explained when I made the appointment that it was an intermittent problem and it needed to be fixed. The service person admitted they did not even open the panel of the rear door to look at it. We are VERY UNHAPPY about this experience. More
