Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Many of those customers became lifelong friends, and the business grew from one referral to another to serve generations. They had the car that fix exactly what I wanted, dealt with me fairly and the timeframe to get the purchase taken care of was much less than I expected. Juan Millan & Cory Cuellar tag teamed the sale and delivery & I couldn't be more pleased. rather that make me wait because Juan was out, Cory stepped up and the process didn't miss a beat. maybe next time I need a vehicle, I will not dread it quite as much. Service Department I've always gotten good service at Bill Utter Ford; used to always deal with Greg Hall, but since the remodeling and adding a bunch of youngsters, it I've always gotten good service at Bill Utter Ford; used to always deal with Greg Hall, but since the remodeling and adding a bunch of youngsters, it seems that things are going downhill. This time I dealt with a very pleasant young man (Alex Seal?), but AFTER the oil & filter change and tire rotation and the car was brought out, and I went to pay, he only then told me that the cabin air filter needed to be changed, so I told him, "Do it." Now the car was never moved, and after I got tired of waiting I finally found the service writer again and told him to forget the cabin air filter, that I just want to get out of here. He went somewhere and came back to tell me the cabin air filter had been changed, so I paid for it. He did give me a 10% discount. I have serious doubts that the cabin air filter was changed, but I didn't keep the car in sight every minute, and I have not pulled the filter myself to check it, so I cannot say for sure. More
