Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Disappointed My wife and I stopped in to look at the 2017 F-250 Trucks they had on hand. It was called Truck Month but you wouldn't know it there. The sales person helping us did a really good job until we got inside to deal on two trucks we were looking at. They appraised the vehicle I had which is not old but is a gas engine. I also work with the local credit union in that area. I was basically told because I drive a gas truck they really couldn't help me. I am in the market for a Diesel. I was told what they could do and I was ready to haggle to get into a new one. They didn't haggle at all and told me my truck was worth nothing to them. I have driven Fords my whole life and will not change but I will never stop by that location again. They didn't seem to want to work with the customer at all. I will deal with the other dealership I always go back to. I have family members that have bought from this location but after my stop they are not going to return there. More

On Saturday they had a cookout for customers, great beverages, and a very nice show room. I felt like I could relax and knew all of my needs were being met. Mike from finance was also very professional and a pleasure to work with. It was the easiest checkout of any vehicle I've purchased. I bought a 2018 F150 and from test drive to the last signature on the paperwork, every single person at Bill Utter was a pleasure to work with. Good car buying experience Jim Houghton is the internet manager; he is quiet and straightforward. Will Shropshire is the sale consultant; he is friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Jim Houghton is the internet manager; he is quiet and straightforward. Will Shropshire is the sale consultant; he is friendly and knowledgeable. Mike Lewis is the finance manager; he is helpful with good sense of humor. This trio combination is awesome because they worked with me on a deal that I believe it was fair and reasonable. I was in and out in less than 2 hours so I had plenty of time to drive my truck home (4.5 hours away). Another plus is the receptionist - she is beautiful and very nice (I forgot to ask for her name). More
