Took our 2016 Escape in for service. Has a 2.o ecoboost. Issue was in Drive, there were several instances of no power while depressing the gas pedal. Every thing was "good", and got to love this one....in writing they stated it was the after market floor mat folding under the pedal. That's mechanic speak for " I don't have a clue. Picked up the car, and almost didn't make it back home...same issues (I removed the supposedly offending floor mat . I took care of the problem, as barely got to the hospital to visit my wife, and on my way home, stopped and purchased a new 2024 SUV...NOT a Ford. Greta disappoint with the product and service.
