Misled about financing terms Our salesman, Lamont Hawthprne, was friendly, professional and efficient. He was great. I have no complaint with him. He said in order to receive one of the rebates ($1000) we had to finance through Ford (over 6%), and make three payments before we could refinance. After the purchase, I was telling a friend, who has been in the car business for over 20 years, about the claim. My friend told me that we could have refinanced the next day. The dealership however, gets money from the manufacturer if the customer keeps their financing for at least three months. More
