Our 4th Honda & 3rd CR-V We knew that our lease was coming to an end this summer on our 2014 Honda CR-V, so we began looking at the Auto Show in January at the 2017's coming o We knew that our lease was coming to an end this summer on our 2014 Honda CR-V, so we began looking at the Auto Show in January at the 2017's coming out. We had decided on another SUV with AWD & looked at all of the different models from every auto maker at the show. That night, we decided that the redesigned 2017 Honda CR-V was the best looking SUV at the show. We loved the new, redesigned front end, & especially loved the new look back end with the cool tail lights. The interior seemed way more roomy than the Rav4 or the Forester. We loved that the CR-V now included a new turbo charged engine, which provides a little more punch, plus gets way better gas mileage. Now it was time to wait until our lease expired on our 2014 before we could get our new one. We visited Bommarito Honda on Saturday, July 15th to test drive a new CR-V & make sure that was the one we wanted. We arrived & asked if we could speak to Sue Doyle. Sue met us at the front door, & took us back to show us what she had available in CR-V's that day. She handed us the keys for a 2017 CR-V EX-L with navigation. She told us to take it out for a test drive & make sure that is what we wanted. We couldn't believe how smooth the ride was, how quiet it was inside, & how much it exceeded our expectations. We were definitely sold on the CR-V, but now having to decide on which one. Sue explained the differences to us in all of the trims. We were trying to decide between the EX & the EX-L. We decided on the EX-L with the leather package & we really liked the driver seat memory & the automatic lift gate. We decided we liked the Modern Steel Metallic the best. Sue explained to us that she didn't have one in that color that day, but that she did have 2 coming in around the middle of August. She told us she would put our name on the first one to come in. She kept in constant contact with us, & let us know that our car would be coming in around August 18th. On the morning of the 18th, she let us know the car was dropped off the night before, & that we could pick it up that night. We drove our 2014 CR-V out there that night to turn in. Sue had our new CR-V all cleaned up & ready to go. She gave us all of the time that we needed & explained all of the different options to us in leasing this car. Then she turned us over to Guy Taylor in the finance department. We had a lot of fun dealing with him, as it was his first day dealing with a new computer system. We got all of the papers signed on this new, huge computer screen on his desk, which was kind of tricky getting your signature & initials in the little boxes. Guy was great to work with. Sue then showed us everything new about this car, paired our phones up to the car's bluetooth, set our radio stations for us, set the locks the way we wanted them & set up the driver's seat memory for both of us & the lift gate memory. Sue is very knowledgeable & really knows her Hondas. She is so friendly & seems like you could sit there all day talking to her. I guess that is some of the reasons why this is the 4th Honda that we have leased from her, & we will be going back back there to visit her again in 2019 when our lease is up on our 2106 Civic.
