It was wonderful dealing with a salesman that was knowledgeable, non-pressuring and made it easy to navigate the car purchasing details. They even figured my Illinois sales tax to help with the process. If only there was a way to keep that new car smell. Getting comfortable with a new Odyssey we moved from a 2005 grand caravan to the 2018 Odyssey, which is kind of like moving from a kite to a spaceship. Ladies beware I went to a tire shop to have a tire patched on July 26, 2017. Their service guy told me my oil was very low and I needed an oil change. My oil life o I went to a tire shop to have a tire patched on July 26, 2017. Their service guy told me my oil was very low and I needed an oil change. My oil life on my car read 50%. I went in to Bommarito Honda for a oil change on July 29, 2017. After I paid and was leaving the service center my oil light came on. I turned off my car went and asked the service advisor why it was on. He talked to two service tech's each denying working on my car. One walked to my car and told me he could turn off the oil light. I responded, "that only turns off the light. Why is the oil light on?" He started my car showed me the oil life was at 100% but couldn't explain why the oil light was on. He popped my hood, checked my oil and realized my car had no oil in it. He was not the tech that worked on my car so he informed the guy who did. The guy who initially worked on my car went to get oil to add to my car. He told me one of the oil pumps had malfunctioned. Of course to me that doesn't explain why the tech didn't check my oil level after using th pump to add the oil(isn't that what other express places do) or why my oil life was showing 100% with no oil in my car. I bought my car new from Bommarito Honda. I have gone there for all of my maintenance. For the past few years I have been adding oil between oil changes thinking my car was burning excessive amounts of oil. I had my car checked for excessive oil consumption by Bommarito Honda service department and was told it was burning oil at a normal rate. I also had it checked for an oil leak. None was found. I now believe that for the past few years when I had gone to Bommarito Honda service department for an oil change they may not have changed my oil. My car appeared to be burning excessive amounts of oil because I was still driving on the same oil I had when I went in there for the oil changes. I guess this time I caught it because my oil was so low going in. L Not peace of mind for me! I'll find some place else to have my car serviced!! More
